I don’t think watching clips are a good way to judge player quality/performance. But anyone who saw this super tricksy, skillful version of young Cristiano Ronaldo-from his 2003 debut to when he began transitioning into a forward role in 07/08-they knew just why a whole generation of children (now often ballers themselves!) grew up idolising him so heavily. In every match, every single time he was on the ball; you could tell the crowd was anticipating a magician’s next trick. 🐐 🇵🇹

Great to see someone with athletic background actually somewhat understanding what Ronaldo does in these clips. I was young footballer when he did this stuff in Premier League, noone else did that back in the day in Prem. Everybody wanted to be him when we played 5 side with the boys and we were picking famous footballers, literally everybody wanted to be Ronaldo. Insane player and even today still scores bangers!

Bro he used to pull out multiple flair skills in his dribbles per game taking on multiple defenders at once every game at his first few seasons at united. He became more efficient in his dribbles one v one or 2 at most before making the assist or goal and other times cut inside to the box to receive pass for goals (starting tricky winger trend or making it popular agin), and fks improved.
