Thank you for the knowledge, we are definitely beginners when it comes to this. I would love to try again the way it’s supposed to be. So I should do it on a pan, like a cast iron pan? And then no oil, just salt and pepper? As far as heat is as hot as this gets good or too hot in your professional opinion? Thanks for sharing even though it made you unhappy 😅

@@TheZWVNetwork A clean stainless steel pan or stainless steel hot plate works and is what I prefer for wagyu. Cast Iron can work well, though the texture can be problematic, and cast iron skillet seasoning can contaminate flavor of meat as delicate and specific as wagyu. The simplest way to cook and serve Wagyu is to slice approximately 0.5 inch (12mm) thick in portions for around 4 inches square (90mm) to get correct heat on pan, flick some water onto the surface of the pan. When the droplets dance around the surface of the pan, you are at the optimal temperature. Place wagyu onto pan. You will see the fat rendering out of the meat, which will cook your meat and give it that brown caramelized crust. Flip steak over after roughly 90 seconds, when the entire surface has a caramel sear. When done, rest the steak for a few minutes slice thinly, and give a light sprinkle of salt flakes. Nothing else is needed. No pepper, no garlic powder. Nothing. You pay top dollar for wagyu. You want to taste wagyu. With the liquid gold left in the pan/on the hot plate, I turn down the heat and add a little garlic and fry some crusty bread until golden. Good luck, my friend. Subscribed.

Hmmm my top spots are definitely wing stop and wingsters. Wing stop is super consistent because it’s international so I like that. Wingsters has some awesome flavors and they’re all gangster themed in their names which is fun too haha

@@TheZWVNetwork Well, that was a few years ago so I don't know if I could do the chicken and all now - though I have done a 14 inch pizza in one sitting just a couple months ago and I suspect I can do 2 of them if I really try. The chicken was when I was about 30 and I'm a senior citizen now ... and I just can't eat as much as I could when I was 30. 🐵 I do love fried chicken though [pizza is also good, but the chicken is the best]🐒
