what, no gift shop views? Gift shops are our rewards for taking that grueling hike. I personally wouldn't be able to do the stairs, but the paved trail I could with my stand-up walker. And now I won't know what my incentives would be, except for the absolutely gorgeous views of those cliffs.

Be careful of those gps. I think that is how a lot of people go missing in the winter, etc. paved trail sounds nice! Wow that was really nice. I haven’t even ever stopped in Grants

Thank you for the priceless views at the El Morro National Monument.
    Whew, that was some hike.
Liked the sight and sound of the freight train rambling through the town of Grant.
I'm sure hiking can make one really tired, hungry and thirsty.
Nice quick meal with a drink and then back home for a hot relaxing soak in the tub.

Nice video! Thanks for the walk through El Morro! My father always wanted to go there. He knew I'd be interested too and it was always on our "to do" list, but we just never did. Now you've got me all geared up to work up to it - cus I wanna do the full main loop, up those long steps! 😳 On my "to do" list for sure, but moved up! 👍

Awesome. The 2nd trail is 2 miles, i think i went less than half. Of course when all trails are open, you can actually walk on the main cliffs, trails are 5 miles or so...
