- After making all the whistles in the last video I decided on a slide whistle to see how the length of the barrel really makes an impact on the tone.

Enjoyed your video, Paul. My Grands will love them!
Great idea as long as they never use them at your house.
What the hell is a millimeter?? Haha 🤣. Gotta add the stereotypical imperialistic American humor. I love this video and your work and way of explaining everything is top notch. Thank you!
LOL. A millimeter tends to be used when it's fractions of an inch as it's by far easier to work out precise measurements.
Very nice video Paul, thanks. I'll have a go at that. Darragh, weekend woodturner in France
Thank you Darragh. You might want to also watch the recent video on the Ocarina as this gives some extra info to think about on the airflow and sound hole.
really nice i like it
Thanks a lot 😊
Whistle looks great
Thank you
nice fun project.
Thank you John
Great project Paul ideal for Christmas
Thank you Douglas. Yes idea little stocking fillers.
What a great idea Paul, I must make one for my granddaughter who can play it while watching the Clanger's.
Thank you Cliff, absolutely ideal for such a great hit of a show.
I made one of these tonight for one of the grandkids. I made it too long and the hole was too big. Now I have something to work on tomorrow. Thanks!
All experimental Dean. There are several areas where the whole time just changes. I had one that takes some blowing as that was quite a large opening too.
Nice little project Paul. Thank you.
Best Wishes, Brendan.
Thank you Brendan
Fun project 😊
Thank you Awldune, definitely is.
Another great project Paul and nice skew work, just right for the grandkids 😉👍👍
Indeed just right for the grandkids.. innocent revenge is a wonderful thing... lol
Thank you Barry, just give to them as they walk out the door or as their stocking fillers.
lol, I know just how you feel with how your own kids have been
Great idea Paul but will make mine with a gouge me and the skew are not on good terms at the moment
Thank you Steven. lol perceive as the skew is by far the most enjoyable and rewarding tool when it goes right.
Like the look of your workshop Paul, what size is it as I'm about to build mine and have limited room.
Thank you Dave. I think it's about 12x8. If you look at my earliest videos there is the shop build in there.
Paul have you received my email's ?
Yes thank you Douglas
