It's too bad that in all the years the gorgeous Renee Jones(Lexie), has been on DOOLS, they didn't do more with her character. Why couldn't she have had a center story line? Been involved in a hot romance? They stuck this gorgeous woman with a fuddy duddy like Abe. It's no wonder she is finally leaving DOOLS (she said because she isn't happy with it any longer. They had to make her EJ''s sister, when she could have been his woman. Black don't crack, she was 50 in 2008! Wow

I think the problem honestly is daytime television doesn't know how to write black characters. There is a real void on Days now no young black actress on the show. If you look at Y&R they have like six black actors on that show and their storylines aren't that great either. Renee says she quit days because she wanted to end her acting career. And this could definitely be true. However, I think Renee probably got frustratred with Days of having a poor storyline and she just wanted to move on.
