Just if U did not know, when U are using that U are invisible and crouch, I are complitely invisible. There isin't even that see trought looking thing, U just are camplitely not there. Exept ofcourse to firestalkers heat vision.
If you are a solo player that wants to live and a clan member tells you to speak you'll have a high chance of surviving if you do. They are just trying to confirm that you're not in a rival clan.

I have a love hate relationship with this game. It's mostly only fun as a solo if you're an acid spitter. As a solo dragon you come to realize how barren and boring the map is. It's huge but huge with nothing. As a group it's a bit better but only because it becomes chat simulator.
The 1.0 update is releasing soon, new way better map, new dragons, new ai, unreal engine 5 port, will be way more fun for solos and clans.
@@artua7461 this game looks like the isle. ive never played either game, but from what ive watched of the isle, big, empty low food spawns, pretty boring.

Still waiting for this game to do more with itself. Wish these animal games would focus more on creating interesting AI to fill up their giant empty boring maps with. Imagine PVPing but then you gotta also dodge ravenous AI monsters/animals as well. Might give the huge ego clans something better to do, or help kill them off lol. You had a good run tho. I would've faceplanted and died sooner.
I hate that the ai for any animal has to be " ravenous." Most animals are more curious when approaching someone or something new..
Personally i would like this being part of a larger fantasy style mmo.
I would like to see more diverse biomes. Like, give me a snowy mountain or a super dense jungle with tall grass to differenciate from the forest

Me tooo! It definitely needs work and can be very slow sometimes. But on the other hand it makes for great content!
About that, the dev team was really just a big scam group that took the money from their fundraiser to slap together a mediocre game with a couple of store bought assets, so this might not be the game you’re looking for
@Logan Cherrington there was literally a stream where they showcased multiple new update aspects (dragons, NPCs, abilities, maps and more).
The "videos" calling DoD a scam are old, that drama happened a while ago, the game is actually worth getting tbh and is realistic unlike other "dragon" games

It would be cool if they added some fantasy elements to the biomes and maybe your own personal caves you can customize to hideaway in
Day of Dragons really feels like The isle. Its a game, which needs to be worked on a lot, but has the basis so well set, that I feel it will have value with time. Updates are slow, but the most important things are done very well. In DoD it would be the flying. Forget everything about the game, but flying in this game is incredible. I still own this game just cuz of flying and whoever builds this game knew, that flying needs a lot of attention if this should become a dragon game.
The plasma it shoots looks & sounds so similar to Httyd Nightfurys breathe❤❤

I know I’m annoying for pointing this out, but I laughed every time he calls a flame stalker a fire stalker and a shadow scale a shadow stalker XD
The shadow scale looks like a night fury but realistic and Some things changed

My favorite type of ppl, they attack someone, others attack back and then the first person cying in chat for help (especially if they are in clans).

I recommend DOD if you have 20$ to throw away 😂 it’s definitely lacking content. But I heard there’s a massive update coming in the near future! But as of right now there’s only 3 playables to choose from and there’s only like 2 servers with 80+ players. So is it worth 20$? No 😂 but did I still have a lot of fun yes
Yes, very soon there will be an update involving a Mega map, estimated to be 6× the size of the current one, 3 new playable dragons, A boss Ai, and new hunt able Ai!

I was so excited for DoD so much but its jus PACK full of clans, no chance for Solo players, attack one without knowing and theyre all on you--it sucks it went that route, unsure if theres a single player because I definitely can see myself getting irritated by people ganging up on you for not even killing someone in that clan tbh, meh probably an "unpopular opinion" but I don't care lol

Not really. Majority of the community is actually on your side.
But hot take: Clans are actually destroying majority of the games. I get that building up communities and stuff is fun and great, yet still it does definitely destroy the game experience for newcommers and solo players.

The only problems I have for the survival aspect of the game no hidng spots maps barren annnnnnd and the sound design u can hear something drinking can't tell the directions it's to echoey they really need to fix that part also the clans are terrible I mean one gets attacked then cries about it and if they know ur name even after they kill u they will target u and make it impossible to grow good idea not speaking to them cuz that's wat they was probably trying to do I had this happen to me got ran out of the server due to it the clans will also set up territories and these territories are usually where the elder shrooms grow Wich they protect fiercely to the point only ones who get elder is the clan so I stick with pve cuz eff all that mess

This game would actually be interesting if it was 4 player max clans but if it’s massive clans that’s just boring unless you join one
They should add towns and villages to attack and eat people :D
I think shadow scales can go invisible while flying but I'm not sure I've only grown flame stalkers and an acid spitter though so don't take my word for it lol
Can’t go completely invisible while flying and it wastes stamina if your invisible and moving/flying
It gives you an escape opportunity though. My most successful escapes are when I go invisible and the fly into a thick forest and hide behind a tree. If you do it fast enough and the crouch, you can stay invisible for an indefinite amount of time
@@ashleafwing1706 yep, best way to survive as solo is ss, since you can pull invis to save your scales most of the time, but I'd still be carfeul with Flame Stalkers though, they can see you with their Heat Vision. Then again, SS are faster, they will inevitably lose a race of endurance 95% of the time.

If you look at the game almost every dragon design is either a blatant ripoff version or has *some* creative things going that just get blasted into nothingness when you see the state of the game. Honestly, feels like a dragon version of The Isle
There was actually some legal stuff they had to go through. Got ruled "different enough".
Its ok for the start I think. But the upcoming dragons should start to design the game.

The whole clan thing is the biggest issue I have with this game right now- the worst thing for a survival game is a global chat yikes
there are different chats though, you got global, local, clan, and group. and you press the bracket buttons to alternate between them. if I have to chat on pvp servers I just use local

@@gevadiva20 I think he meant by that that DoD is lacking not cuz of only having global but having global at all. A survival game should actually not have a global chat if you think about it.
@@chomp5558 if you don’t like global chat no one is gonna force you to use it. However global chat is useful to certain aspects. Like shroom hunting and helping new players to the ropes.
@@gevadiva20 Helping new players is a valid point, but local might be enough. Its not that Im forced to use it, I dont use it much indeed, but how can I prevent someone randomly posting my position so ppl can attack, so it can harm the gameplay experience. (Tho as DoD is full off clans, a majority of players would know it even without global chat💀).
Like Evrima got rid of Global and I can tell you that I actually dont miss it. It even advances the interaction with other dinosaurs, as you cant communicate.

How long does it take to grow the dragons? I looked it up and haven't gotten actual answers. The stuff just says like "how to grow", or people talking about "it takes so long to grow"(from like 2019), but not actual minutes (and possibly hours, or... days... even)
pretty sure Acid Spitter takes around 2 hours, Flame Stalker around 4 I believe, and Shadow Scale should be 2-3 but it's been a while so don't take my word for it
