I don't really know what happened in Dallas, but Rondo is no quitter. Maybe he didn't want to be there. Maybe it was Carlisle. Who knows. But he was hugely responsible for the Celtics success--feeding the big three. Without him, no title. This is a guy who could do a triple double at will. And he's not as bad a short-rang shooter as people say. He was a pure point guard, an assist machine. He's a magician with that ball. And I've never seen any guard rebound like him, and THAT's why Dallas traded three players for him. Yes, he's just that damn good.

Rondo is a shot caller and a floor general, and the Mavs thought they could play through Ellis and Dirk and have Rondo play more off-ball than he's used to. Dallas should have trusted Rondo with the balls in his hand while managing the court. He could have been setting players up to make plays like he did in Boston, but they for some reason went against his play-style.
This guy has eyes of a hawk. His basketball IQ is over 9000. He can see a play before it happens. He can see the court with his eyes closed. He is the best PG in the league.
2012 was the best year in his career for Rajon Rondo no doubt about that ! He was a beast from start to the end in that season. He is my man and he will always be... Peace!
Rajon Rondo and Derrick Rose are BOTH the best point guard FOR THE TEAMS THEY PLAY ON. For example The Celtics were loaded with guys who can score(KG,paul pierce, and before ray allen) The Bulls needed someone who can score and bring a lot of energy. I'm a Bulls fan but I love Rondo and Rose!
rondo is the most complete point guard in the league. 2 years ago or even a year ago people would say rose but why has rondos team gone farther in the playoffs every year oh and for those who say he cant shoot then watch the heat/76s series leave him open to protect against the drive watch him pop mid range jumpers in your teams face. Rondo is one of the most consistent PGs in the NBA. I love his game. He has so much steez and swagger. If he was a scoring threat, hands down the best point guard. Just like Nash and CP3, he can easily pick apart the D. With ease...Just ask the Heat. The only team the Heat fear is Team Rondo.
Watching videos from a few years back. Hell he even used to dunk the ball lol, not anymore. Still definetely top 2-3 , and still my favorite though. Im glad hes a celtic, and im sure he'll be there for a long time.
