    The person who wrote the title Rugby's Most Violent Match posted something that was an insult, inaccurate and discriminating. How many punches did you see being throw during the game? How many players injured because of this 'violent' match?How many players being sent off because of this violent match? How many players being penalise because of this "violent" match?This was a physical match which both teams are quite capable of playing at this level. If you object to the physicality of the game, then dont watch and especially DON'T write such title for a sport that you probably never played.

    Now the disparity is clear between these unions with lots of money (All blacks, ABs) versus small nations (Samoa, and pacific nations) that just play with pride, passion and heart in their own home soil!
    This was the first game vs the All blacks held in Samoa.
    With the ABs having lots of class players yet Samoa showed when given a chance to host them, (and having their own stars to play) showed that they can match it with any big rugby nation.
    Need more tests like these in the islands, as well as allowing our tier one stars that have been dropped to play for their heritage without any issues or stand down periods.
    But then again it's about the commercial viability (money) for the big unions.

    It’s not the skills of Samoa that lets them down, it was the No arm high tackles that were so persistent in their game. Now the rules have changed they are having huge problems playing within the new laws.

    • @jireh2360
      @jireh2360 ปีที่แล้ว

      There was never a problem qith the game before, the only problem was that polynesians and maoris were genetically superiors physically without having to put muscle on so they could still play the game at a high pace so the northern nations introduced this tackler at fault rule that put onus on the tackler no matter what mitigations were at play, this ensured the polynesian boys couldnt intimidate their opponents as all the opponents had to do was duck into tackles and the onus was on the bigger boys, this is how the northern nations evened the playing field out, they took away the strength of the physically superior man.

    • @teocarre4026
      @teocarre4026 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jireh2360 sounds like a load of coping tbh. Did you stop to think that maybe NH teams have evened the playing field because they've got the money and player population to develop good grassroots rugby? SH teams always had the advantage before because rugby was more popular there so they could develop good teams even in the amateur era, but now that we are in the professional era the NH teams have the financial incentive to help grow the sport and this has started to pay off in recent years.
