Damn, I dont like how yall talk about Sydney... like every episode? Her, Richie and the rest of the crew have shown the most character development and she catches so much smoke, like?
You do know that Sydney throwing up ties back to a story Carmy told Sydney a while back about throwing up every single day before work. Don't hate on Syd just because you don't understand her. If you even remotely pay attention to the show you know that she works just as fucking hard as Carmy and understands him on a culinary level better than anyone else ever introduced on the show. To talk to condescendingly of her is blasphemy. Straight up! Lol
With most high-end restaurants, those small plates come in a series of about seven courses, with one price for the entire meal in total. It's not just that tiny amount of food for the huge price.
I have to agree with eman that this episode was interesting because the show is basicalky trying to build carmys heros journey with this montage and hype itself up as well i think they did a great job doing that
This episode was a epilogue which is usually at the end of a book but this was an epilogue at the beginning of a season which a clever choice of episode placements, it shows very well cinematic shots of the culinary world and interesting set designs. They say a picture says a thousand words and this episode shows that you don’t need a thousand lines of dialogue to make your point you just need compassionate shots that shows the characters in tough or emotional or even difficult situations to get a story across to the viewer
@DeanLance-v4b we make excuses for things that we like. I love artsy shit but it felt out of place this deep into the season. The episode was unnecessary. I call a spade a spade. It was boring and deep down inside you know it. Your afraid to admit it
@DeanLance-v4b I'm being immature? You have sat here trying to tell me I am wrong for saying the episode was boring. That sounds pretty immature to me.

“The moment you throw that away you’re not human anymore” damn bro with the wisdom
This episode was weird as fuck but weirdly liked it
I loved it, it still told a story without needing dialogue
The entire episode was a montage. That's ballsy.
i dont know if id even call it an episode. it felt like a recap the network releases to remind the audience what happened before the new season airs.
The episode bored me not gonna lie
@DeanLance-v4b I understood completely and yet it still bored the hell out of me
@DeanLance-v4b action packed ? It's a show about a restaurant? How action packed can that be?
It was a boring episode it's simple lol

@DeanLance-v4b logically starting a season opener with an artsy montage will be met with criticism
