Hello I bought some plans to build a vacuum former and they say I need a "Arduino Uno ATmega328P microcontroller board" I'm looking for one and all I can find are "Arduino Uno R3 ATmega328P microcontroller board" are these the same board? or can I use either one? Thanks
You need to select the board type (e.g. Arduino UNO) and the USB port you are connected to. Go to Tools -> Board and then Tools -> Port. If you're not sure which port you're connected to, make sure the USB cable is disconnected from the computer, go to Tools -> Port and see which ports are available. Then plug the USB cable in, do the same thing and see which new port just appeared and select that one.
I'm not familiar with that software. I doubt that will allow you to do what you describe, but here is an article I found. Hope this helps. forum.arduino.cc/t/atmel-flip-what-does-it-do/205487
Can you hold it with bare hands or are you grounded? Is there risk of ESD bricking these devices? How do I use it in a average home? Do I need a ESD mat?
While I'm sure it is advisable to discharge any static electricity, these boards are pretty durable. I've been using these for years and never had a problem.
That ukelele brings with it the sounds of hell
Yeah, harder to hear you talking.
Thanks for this simple explanation (if I can say, would be better without the too loud music!)
Hi, what's the tx rx in the center side, between digital and analog pins?
Those are the transmit and receive pins used for serial communication. Here's a pinout diagram: content.arduino.cc/assets/Pinout-UNOrev3_latest.pdf
Hello David, that is awesome i have a question about how to start with this board ; programming and how can i use it
