    Nice video, my son is replacing his Central Air Conditioner with mini splits. When he is done he will be removing all duct work, some was installed in 1956, so lots of leaks. And of course the old insulation. We are in Pinellas County,Fl. I have made a few videos about my work but never good enough like yours.

    Where do you get the bags?

  • @robertfeke3969
    @robertfeke3969 ปีที่แล้ว

    How much does each bag weigh after filling it with cellulose insulation? I know it depends on how much material that you try to include. But how much material do you try to put in the bag to allow you to move it? Or do you try to keep the bag in a truck or trailer so that you do not need to move it?

    Where I can disposal the contaminated insulation?

    Question for the professional: I just had a pro come out and use the similar bags as what you show in the video. He had a really nice operation just like yours. Our insulation was blown in and some sort of grounded up newspaper particulate. The issue was that the bags leached out particulate and the dust made it look like it was snowing for a few houses down the block. Is this normal to have the bags blow out that much dust and particulate into the air. Thanks for your opinion! It cost me a few carwashes (LOL!)

      Yes what you got is cellulose and it’s recycled material and that’s how it is, i personally prefer blown in pink fiberglass, it’s almost no mess and plus the new versions aren’t even itchy anymore.

    How does one know how much insulation one can install before sagging of the sheetrock will occur?

      We start with a 6 inch hose that comes off vacuum then reduces to 4 inch hose in the attic.

    U don’t do exclusions??? It dint show you patching any hole or any thing on how the animals got up there???

    • @Eraticators
      @Eraticators  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The exclusion was completed two weeks before the attic restoration.
      You would never want to perform an attic restoration without sealing the building properly this video mainly shows the steps of an attic restoration.

      You guys showed rat droppings too it would be nice to see the entree points where the rats 🐀 got in then the exclusion.

    Great idea to do a video while the vacuum is making a really loud noise . We can hear just fine , don't worry about it...

      @@Eraticators i really appreciate the intention for an educational video but sometime you need to hire a professional to do it right .. especially if you don't have the knowledge to do it the right way. . They may be great at attic insulation but not that great at presenting it on TH-cam.

      @@cosmin6686 Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If our business would have been about professional videos I would understand your feedback but that is not the intention of this video. Not all the videos posted on TH-cam are meant to be done by professionals. This is just merely a brief explanation of the type of work that we do, nothing to do with filming. If that will have been our business clearly we will have concentrated on that but as you can see this video has nothing to do with professional filming or camera or media. The main idea has been delivered and clearly the visual of the work has been sufficient for other people. Sorry it’s not good enough for your standards. Thank you for your feedback and have a good day.

    Said droppings are very dangerous to breathe in while he was not wearing a mask, guess not as dangerous as he said. Apparently did not wait for disinfectant to dry before blowing in new insulation.

    • @Eraticators
      @Eraticators  ปีที่แล้ว

      Obviously you do not know about attics in Florida it was about 130° so the disinfectant dries within minutes. Doing a video where you need to speak and have people hear you with a respirator mask on your face doesn't make a lot of sense.
      Thank you for the concerns
