This is what the USA is all about. Listen to the laughing and pure JOY everyone is experiencing. If you haven't experienced the sand dunes , you wouldn't understand. A few hundred horsepower in a rail like this is awesome and enough to scare the passengers. I can't imagine what this 1,800 HP work of art is doing to everybody's endorphins. This is a great way to give thanks to all the dinosaurs who died to give us this wonderful fuel. LOL...
Dinosaurs didn't give us the fuel god made the earth with fossil fuels in it already. The earth is only a few thousand years old according to the bible so get your facts straight.
WTF?
Looks like my view from my CR 500 1st a a lot like my 450 ‘s But a built Cr 500 ! Wow ! So much fun !!!
probably the coolest thing ever
Bottom line if you wanna go fast get a hold of nelson! This dude is the mad scientist!!!
gr8 video fast buggy very nice work weldone.
Dam that's crazy!!
Crazy ride
Would like to see one today with a Nelson motor at Glamis
Best ride in my Life--some day
MMMMMMMmmmmm delicious well designed suspension
So fucking wicked...I love how it just blazes the sand off the back tires...so cool.
1800 hp really comes to life offroad haha
Traxxas Bandit right there! :D
that things so sick i caught the bug wowzer!!!
3:1 power to weight ratio ? on absolutly no grip bumpy surface ??
hold my beer, i'm next ! :P
The top pully/tensioner (6:40) is about to cry ENOUGH!! 😫
I'd like to see the rail I can get that exact view from my YFZ
What does your awesome rail weigh ?
Beard...they are full blown bucket seats which you really can't compare to your normal car seat. They are comfortable in a different way...as in they are comfortable for this kind of stuff, but you wouldn't want to drive across America in them.
1800HP and Rear engine and they are SURPRISED it pulls them in 5th??
not too mention impeccable traction.
@SebNormandy So when it jumps, it doesn't nose dive. It's a more balanced vehicle.
What transmission is being used?
Awesome .. That's not considered a normal sand rail is it . That's considered a beast I assume ?
10:00 goooood dammmn
What kind of seats are in it? And are they comfortable?
at 6:43 the idler pulley at the top left of the engine is going insane...
Did you dyno it?
So....which one of you got to nail the excited lady in the back?
I'm sure the quad & moto X riders get the hell out of the way when they hear that coming.
Did Bobby Alexander just pass away?
MasterCraft has a seat solution for any off road ride!!!
@clayton, dude, 100hp IS a big difference. . consider a car that has 100hp. Now give it 200hp. . u see?
I want to party with these guys.
Needs more light bars!
dam
Dear Santa...
BALLS BALLS BALLS.
You a local?
Is that a nitro RC? ;-)
I would have been the contrarian and wore a helmet and arm restraints
i would teach him how to drive that properly!!
At the wheel vs flywheel is not a big difference its only about a 100hp difference NRE I think are the best engine builders you can get as long as you have a huge bank account
Wrong, in a sandrail it works out to about a 25 percent drive train hp loss.
fking insane
how about building a lower reving high torque engine so you don't have to wind the piss out of it.
Yeah, the turbos would love that. Sarc.
that things too nasty!!
Weight distribution
They come from people who drive Priuses.
my question is is it 1800hp at the flywheel or is that rear wheel horse power? because it is a very big difference. Im going to say at the flywheel because 1800hp at the wheels in a sand rail is too much you would never use more than half of the throttle you would eat gearboxes or axles or paddle tires
yah, when u put too much horsepower down the paddles tear off. a real problem for us duners.... u f××n idiot
+Jessica Spotts I'm guessing you've never rides in a rail that can actually tear off paddle tires? I don't expect you to know what the fuck you are talking about
+icebox829 We always leave the glamis drags before paddles start flying off. Those things can poke an eye out! One time at Coos Bay our BB Brodix rail threw a paddle and knocked an eagle right off his perch. Ever since then we decided to only measure hp off the flywheel.
+Jessica Spotts do you even know the difference between 1800 he at the fly wheel or or 1800 hp at the rear wheels, because I really don't think you know that there's a few hundred horsepower difference, but I don't expect you to know that because I'm sure when your husband takes you to the dunes all you do is ride bitch and break shit on the trailer. and it's not about people being injured it's about the performance of your car being comprimised due to tires having a differenc in traction per side so fuck off I'm done listening to your ignorant ass. You should stick to loading up the cooler with snacks and lounging around camp.
+icebox829 poor eagle lying there, so sad. should have dialed boost back to produce a managable 1500rwhp and he could have lived. went to drive off but could only do circles. ran the Lil bugger over 3 more times.
ugghh that slo-mo needs to go. >
4 dislikes???
For what reason if I may ask?
130k toy easy!!!!
dude a 750 hp rail is about 200k this thing has a crazy price tag on it
if you do it the cheap way XD
love it i am in aw its like sex but even better but with the rail u dont need to return the favor lol
Nice but get rid of the slo mo
this thing is meant to race not be in the dunes of Pismo beach
I seen a 2800hp rail.
Burning Tirez no you haven't. If there was a 2800hp rail it would be on TH-cam and I can promise you this. It's not, therefore there is no sand rail with even more than 2000hp
BBB.
That guy drives like a women! Let me drive!
You could get those wheelies in all five gears with a stock 350 as far back as you got that motor sitting. Not impressed
