Great project, as always. My favourite Doctor is the third, Jon Pertwee. I am old and have been watching Dr Who from the very first Dr, William Hartnell.
A hint for embossing covers; if you place a sheet of craft foam over the covers and press while the glue is wet it pushes the cover material down into the spaces.
Thanks for that little hint about the foam, a great idea.
While Tom Baker will always be my favourite, I loved Jon Pertwee next best. Plus I loved him as Worzle Gummage.

This is amazing! A couple of years ago I did a River Song diary and used your videos to learn book binding, at that time I shared with you some photos.
The cool part is we used the same technique to make the embossed cover. Thank you for bringing me such good memories.
Thanks. This is just what I was looking for. I've wanted to do embossing for a while, but never really had much success with it, and most of the tutorials I've found use embossing machines which kinda defeats the object of personalisation. I did attempt to create a book like this, but used much thinner card for the embossed areas. However, I did manage to get Sylvester McCoy to sign it, so that's awesome.
I've been wanting to bind my single issue Doctor Who comics together, but was undecided on what covers to use. I think this will be perfect.
There is no better doctor than 10! I could listen to him talk all day long! Love my David Tennent!
My favorite is Matt Smith the 11th doctor, because he was the doctor that introduced the series for me ^-^

I made one last month for my wife as a christmas present. It was easier than I thought. I think you used 2mm cardboard, although in your links you link to 3mm card board.
One tip: if you want to make a perfect emboss, without having to press down in the grooves with your bone folder, fill the grooves with match sticks and put weight on it. That way, you get a perfect emboss.

I love this project! My Doctor is Paul McGann, the Eighth Doctor. However, I love each incarnation. Each actor put his own spin on the character and did a magnificent job. 💙💙
You can use sprayable contact adhesive for gluing the end pages. It's not water based, so it won't cause any creases in the paper. Only, it is exactly what its name says: contact adhesive. Once contact is made, there's no way to adjust the position of the paper.

Wow, that's so cool!! I always think the current doctor is my favorite until he changes into the next one. I loved Christopher Eccelston and thought I hated David Tennant, but then he grew on me and I loved him! Then when he morphed into Matt Smith, I was so mad and hated him, but now Matt's my favorite! I'm still watching season 6 so he hasn't switched to the newest guy, but I'm sure I'll hate him, until I love him. :)

I am a younger fan, came on board in 2013 which was the 50th Anniversary but if I had to choose I'd say the 3rd Doctor is my favorite from the classic era and the 11th is my favorite from the revival era.

my favourite is the 11th and nobody say hes technically the 12th because the incarnation that faught in the time war didnt consider himself the doctor but technically hes the 13th incarnation because that incarnation still counts and tennant regenerated twice

Sorry I just wanted to say that if you feel you are unable to make this because you are unable to find blue vinyl an easy thing to do is go to your local Walmart or craft store and purchase black vinyl and navy blue acrylic paint. Just cut out the needed amount of vinyl and dry brush the blue paint on to the vinyl. It creates the same worn leather effect as the blue vinyl sea lemon uses in this video. GOOD LUCK 👍🏻😁
