Maybe my understanding in F1 strategy is poor, but I find it hard to explain how such a good racer ar yourself manages to lose so many times positions while starting 1st or second, cause of the poor strategy. You always seem to "enjoy" having a different strategy than the rest, i.e. trying to "outsmart" them all.
IMO, if you are that good (and I think you are), just start first - finish first; start second - try to finish first or at least not worst by just racing 101.
But I just believe that you enjoy this method: starting first - losing 4-8 positions - and recovering them all (most of the time not). Which puts on a great show, but it's not a pragmatic play...
Subconsciously I believe you're right, as throughout most of my league racing career I always prefer having the mental advantage or being on softs or thinking I need to do something different. Will just not look to overcomplicate and believe in my pace more 🙏

i understand ur reasoning behind M-H but the sort of "net pace loss" that occurs over the race just isnt worth it here unfortunately, unless the other drivers are quite a bit slower than you
Here's my 2 cents: You consistently stay out longer then everyone else on your 1st stint and more times than not are complaining about it at the end of the race. Stop making the same mistake over and over if your goal is to win. Track position is KING so stop acting like the PRINCE by giving up positions to have the "fresher tires" at the end of the race.
You missed the stratergy, was medium - softs, but good race
or med - hard but he needs to undercut, he combined med-hard with overcut that's suicide

ive always wondered whats the difference between driving on pc with a wheel and driving on ps5 with a wheel
Why not go medium softs? I think that would of worked saying softs medium worked for Karl
@@musshonest871 as he said in the video he would lose a lot of position by other drivers undercutting him and he would also have to use a lot a battery trying to overtake the other drivers

Your pace is rapid. I just think you need to be a little bit more balanced in how many races you go aggressive Strat vs same Strat as the field.
It's not about pitting. The srategy was just not right. During testing, it became clear, that Medium+Soft tyres are absolutely okay for the race. There was no point to use the Hard compound.
Unfortunately, you lost your chance to win already at the start..

We learn with every mistake. It's kinda surprising with all of your experience in these games and League racing that you made such a blunder, knowing you are allegedly faster than anyone here. Kinda shot yourself in the foot, but now you know what to do next time.
On other F1 games often staying out longer for the fresher tyres is superior, also depends on tracks etc. But when using a hard in 2nd stint it really isn't worth it, so just need to stop overcomplicating and keep track position.
