You are now my Vitara GURU ("GURU" means one who helps a person move from darkness to light. You performed what I value: "less talk and more walk". I can see what you do, get it, and can apply it in my own life". Thank you.
Hello there, I have the same engine in my GV and we have converted it to run on LPG. Should I use those sparkplugs? Or something different? Maybe a colder plug? Thanks in advance :-)
No, do not use any other spark plugs, if your LPG mechanic tells you to use other plugs it is not true! On LPG and CNG systems you should and must use the best ones that are recommended by the car manufacturer. Iridiums are the best. The only thing is that on LPG and CNG systems you should replace them after 5000-6000 km, because natural gas has higher burning temperature and plugs are damaged faster
@@Petruccio1881 How about using a bit colder plugs. For example Suzuki says to use IFR5J11 plugs, but a lot of mechanics advise to use IFR6J11 plugs in hot climates. Makes sense right? And in summer it gets very hot in Greece.
wich gap apply to spark plug? in my case is a tracker 2002 4L 2.0, and i have another tracker 2003 v6 2.5, how can i know the gap in the spark for that engine?
Heyy good evening i habe a 2003 suzuki with a j20 engine but it drives well for 5 minutes an the other 5mins its starts misfiring what would've caused that please
Hi brother. your videos are excellent. I am learning many. I have a Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.0 with a j20A engine. Same as yours. Could you tell me what is the original brand of the ignition coils. I want to buy the originals. I would also like to know your opinion about the Bosch Super 4 plus Fr78x spark plugs. Thanks. I would like to be in contact with you by mail and be able to resolve some concerns about my vehicle. Greetings from Colombia.
Hi, you can use NGK U5092 ignition coil, or get OE (33400-65j00) one from junkyard... Don't use that crippy bosch fr78x spark plugs, you need Denso IK20TT or NGK BKR5EXI-11 (5464). Thanks for watching.
@@Petruccio1881 Hi brother. I'm here again. Today I was checking the ignition coils and spark plugs on my grand Vitara. in the primary winding the result was 1.4 kilo ohms and in the secondary winding the result was 9.6 kilo ohms. Could you tell me if these are correct or what would be the correct results. Thank you
I could do that but I don't have that car any more, sorry. If all 4 coils have same resistance, I don't think all of them are faulty at the same time and resistance 1.4 and 9.6 are good, as I saw on internet.

thanks for watching
Great video... I have a 2.4 to do, should be a similar job with different plugs.
thanks for watching!
nice engine bay and good video. keep her runnin.
Thanks
Bro my 2.0 grand vitara does only about 6.5km per litre of petrol. Any recommendations to improve my fuel economy?😢
Thanks!
I put a dab of antiseize grease on the threads to avoid future sticking of the plug. do not overdue it
maybe some spark plugs need anti seize grease, but NGK spark plugs don't, because the thread is plated with anti seize metal itself

Yes, IFR6J11 is compatible with J20A engines also, good option
@@Petruccio1881 thankssss
nice video ,
But if I needed to do a tune up, what would I need to change?
Thanks for the Helpful Video , I will replace them on my 1999 Tracker . Question , You didn't have to Adjust the Sparkplug ?
no, you don't need to adjust NGK spark plugs, they are already adjusted
Hi, did you have a real improvement? What was It? Thanks
yes, idles is better and accelerates well, this is dielectric grease, it saves ignition coil boots from cracking, thanks for your comment

gaps on these spark plugs are corrected from the factory, so I'm not touching them, they should be ok with your trackers as well
Hi is Denso k20tt will work on j20a, ty
yes, you can use, but I would use IK20TT or IK16TT
@@Petruccio1881 ty im on my budget thats why i dont drive very often heheheh ty for feedback
Ahhh ya se, yo tuve que quitar la barra para poder sacar la segunda bujía jejjeje
yeah, this is the easy way to change them without taking off the strut bar😀
Any Horse Power improvement?
yes, engine runs fine and gas mileage is better
if use bkr6eix-11 is it suitable for j20?
No, only BKR5ES-11, PFR5J11, BKR5EIX-11, BKR5E-11, BKR5EGP, IFR5J11 and FR5AHX are sutable
how often do you have to change the shaft betwixt the coil and the plug?
if you are talking about the rubber, you should change it when it's cracked or damaged
Cuantas libras de presión el spark?
you can see that at 1:22
Ok , my car , Tracker GM 2008 , ingine J20 .
Heyy good evening i habe a 2003 suzuki with a j20 engine but it drives well for 5 minutes an the other 5mins its starts misfiring what would've caused that please
it could be several reasons, start checking with spark plugs and coils, check CO2 in coolant...
Si le premier le quatrième bougie ne marche pas quel est la cause
check ignition coils
