Peter Tosh is the equivalent of Fela Kuti of Nigeria that’s why they were best friends.. My favourite amongst the wailers … uncompromising attitude stands out …
I've been there and i'm proud of it! He was such a true soldier and fight for the human rights and equality. I never forget Mr Mackintosh and i know he's rest at ZION'S place 🖤💚💛❤🙏
It was only just to award a distinguished Order of companionship to Niambe (peter's daughter) on his father's behalf for his role in the struggle for black people liberation in South Africa .....for ever our Hero and loved in South Africa. May many follow suit in honour of the amazing Giant a fearless fighter of the rights of the people
Previously I know of Peter Tosh only as a reggae icon but now I am learning a lot more about him. Continue to highlight these hidden features about these people Miss Jamrock.
Back in the 70s, when I was a toddler, Peter lived on the same avenue as my family. This was in Ensom City in Spanish Town. Sometimes, my mom would be at the bus stop waiting on the bus to get home & he would spot her when he was passing by & he would give her a ride in his Hillman Hunter, which had several lions on it. He was quite a fast driver, she said. He liked to wear jeans & according to her, he was always well groomed. Once, when he gave her a ride, he had some live shrimps in the car & he told her that he liked to buy his food live. At the time, he was getting a lot of recognition in his musical career & whenever he would pass through Spanish Town square, he would slow down his car & his fans would come running. He was nice to his fans, she said. She also said that Bob Marley would visit his home a lot, but she never got to meet him. They would practice playing the guitar, whenever he visited Peter & she could hear them from her house. She said he was very, very good at playing the guitar. Even better than Bob Marley & he also used to ride his bicycle around the neighbourhood, as part of his exercise programme.
Awww. So nice. One of my friends told me that the first time he met Peter he was expecting him to be rough and regimental, but Peter greeted him like a friend and gave a lot of jokes and was very cheerful warm.
I can not believe that this man was an icon all a long and now people are just talking about it he should have gotten recognition a long time ago but yet still he was hidden from the spot lite he was a very great man Rip the honorable Peter Toch we all love ❤❤❤ you very much 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤
So, Peter was brought up in the church. I wonder why he never went back.... The property is breathtaking. Imagine waking up in an environment like that everyday.
I see what you're saying. However, people (maybe his family) make changes to the mausoleum every so often, so it's not like they have it one way and that's how they want to keep it. Also, it's not like she took something with her.

Because him wake up and see through the lies of the established church and its sh*+stem
From what I overstand is he saw a lot of hypocrites going to church and it just turned him off to it.
