Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my channel. I am pleased to have you.
This channel is dedicated to highlighting authentic experiences, the people in Jamaica and across the Diaspora, and the places which make the Land of Wood and Water, still a beautiful place to live.
Journey with us, as we meet some of the most amazing Jamaicans in their natural environments, doing what they do best, whether it be sports, , music, culinary experiences, religious events or heritage-related.
Jamaica, the largest English-speaking island in the Caribbean, is one of the region’s most diverse and colourful countries. Our history, culture and people have propelled this tiny island of the Greater Antilles, to global prominence.
Together, we will explore deep-rural and off-the-beaten paths places of interest far beyond the resort areas, and, yes, even within the resort areas themselves.
Welcome once again and thanks for tuning in.

Want Global Reggae and Dancehall Expansion? Listen to Usain Bolt Now #jamaica #jamaicanmusic
Sprint legend Usain Bolt has once again reiterated his 2021 vision for transforming the Reggae and Dancehall genres into global powerhouses. Speaking during his annual Boxing Day treat at Waldensia Primary and Infant School, his alma mater in Sherwood Content, Trelawny, Usain reaffirmed his strategic master plan, which centers on organizing collaborative international tours featuring 10 or more Jamaican Dancehall artistes. These performances, he believes, should target some of the world's largest arenas, offering not only unprecedented global exposure but also significant economic benefits for Jamaica’s music industry.
In addition to these tours, Usain emphasized the importance of creating a structured and functional framework for the Reggae and Dancehall industry. He also highlighted the need for all stakeholders to actively promote and market these genres positively on a global scale, ensuring their continued relevance and growth.
Usain also provided updates on his record label, A Team Lifestyle, which reflects his dedication to nurturing Jamaican talent. By combining music, business, and a global vision, the Trelawny native is determined to elevate Jamaican culture and music to new heights. His call to action underscores his commitment to using his platform to bring lasting change to the Reggae and Dancehall scenes.

Check us out in Ecuador on rugged hills, building railroad. Not to mention the 10,000 Jamaican soldiers that fought in the Normandy war. Then were sent to Egypt to fight also. But none of those is in our history books.🤷🏿♂️✌🏿✌🏿
@@mob6569 I think that is what inspired Alma Norman's poem JAMAICA WANDERERS 🇯🇲
Malaria was killing everyone building the canal the Jamaicans was immune to it that's why they used mostly Jamaicans to finish the canal.

Thank you...many believe that Americans built the canal ....I remember the folk song... "cologne man a come". These Jamaicans returned home with lots of money.
Yes. Thousands lost their lives as well... and were discriminated against and paid lowly wages.

If jamaicans United we would run the corner shops from the 60s instead of the Indians. We have no unity or business sense 😢😢😢

My Jamaican grandmother was born in Panama. Buried in England. BUT Gave birth to my Dad in Jamaica. OUT OF MANY ONE PEOPLE. WE GIVE THANKS.
Big up yourself! One Love!
How could she be Jamaican if she was born in Panama, because if you don’t know I’ll break the news to you Jamaican isn’t a race or ethnicity, it’s a nationality. Your grandmother was Panamanian 🇵🇦 which is also not a race or ethnicity
Link up Laing and rebrand Sting
Interesting perspective.
@missjamrock many of the artistes have the resources but not the same vision and risk tolerance. Pitch it to as many and I guarantee at least 3 will buy in. There you have a team to get plans in motion
