    Also I guess companies that distributes dividend must have a tendency to regularly emit more shares to make up for the money they will distribute to existing shareholders expecting dividends especially when the company results are too weak to meet the expectations, ending up in a loss of share value. So the cash money the shareholder receives is counter balanced by the drop in his shares value. It's kind of a fool's game.

    ANY entity that was swallowed up by the big funds during cheap liquidity... highly leveraged that entity instantly after aquisition.... now moving these assets are hard, because essentially they are underwater now with debt service costs and increased expenses with a slowing of demand by fisical monetary policy that is running quantitative tightening.
