Nick's turn to solo... Jesus Christ the speed!! I started laughing, F'ing awesome. Love this song, I'm getting another guitar for C-tuning just to figure out Arch Enemy tunes.
Indeed. It's melodically transcendent in comparison to the majority of melodic death metal bands. The unparalleled creativeness should be associated with Michael's ,heavily reliant on melody, guitar playing.
@@deftartisan6769 You do realize that Michael writes 100% of the guitar for Arch Enemy? This Nick guy didn't write a lick. In current time, Jeff is now finally doing some writing, for the current album they are/have been working on.
@@9hk38f Yes he did. The comment said "solos" which is true. Michael writes all the riffs and his solos, and Nick wrote all the solos that he played on the album. Michael doesn't write solos for the other lead player.
@@rustinpeace-tt8gx No, Michael writes pretty much 100% of everything. He even writes some of the lyrics. He is a self admitted control freak. Which is why he uses passive pickups, instead of active. There are rumors that he finally let Jeff write some stuff on the current album. But Nick did not write a single note, of any Arch Enemy song.
Right after setting my eclipse up with the zakk wylde emg set I got into this tune and decided my eclipse shall now be set up in c so I can learn these songs. Never played so low before but I'm enjoying it and these guys are absolutely incredible. Thank you arch enemy
Guys, i just got word that Nick left the band, a friend told and said that when Michael was asked about it he said "it's effective immediately" Chris Ammott (i hope i spelled that right) is in for the rest of the rest of the tour. When they're done, Jeff Loomis will join Arch Enemy. I don't know what happened but it's a real shame that he left. That's a lot of skill right there.
1) Chris Amott 2) Нельзя утверждать, что уход Ника это позор. Мы же не знаем причины, верно? Может у него с родственниками что-то произошло. В этом случае его поступок заслуживает уважения.

Anyone have an accurate tab for the run at 3:17? I can't seem to figure it out. I know the scale and key but I can't seem to decipher how he's picking it and what notes are played in what order.
To edit my previous reply, yes, it's only one of two guitarists so it`s a play through of one portion of the song. The rest is where digging through tabs and such comes in. Either way, it's so far helped me a ton. Enough of a lesson for me. Honestly, 99% of why I watched this vid was for the whammy bar bits. Intimidated at first, then had other sources to help understand how that works.
You can slowdown the TH-cam video or stop it everytime you need it. Seeing one guy just putting the fingers in the right place is better and faster than tabs or ear guessing. Just try the speed up or slow down option.
take it from a guitarist who learnt this song by ear bro, i was very close but watching him play i see ive been playing some notes in the wrong positions, so yes if you are experienced enough a video like this is better than any proper lesson you'll find anywhere else :)
3:28 seems like this part is impossible to play without active pickups. I get very muffled and quiet sound here. And Nick even almost don't touch strings with mediator.
Not true actually, because Nick has passive pickups on that Dean guitar. He is doing 3 string sweeps but while starting on the highest string he is duing hammer on and pull off instead of picking every note. Search for legato lesson on youtube to strenghten your fingers and add a little more distortion to your tone, it might help with that.
+chazzy licks its quite interesting, both Nick and Michael used stock Dean pickups rather than a big name brand. he was a marshall user, not sure what strings tho
sergio andres guevara diaz Yogen Grg I don't know about Nick, but he probably uses something similar to Michael, Michael uses 59, 44, 32, 18, 15, 11 gauge.
We need all songs gp files. Also we need solo parts as well. The more song you release the more fan became. Every headbanger wants to play these awesome riffs and solos. But there is no source for notes. The notes on internet generally wrong. We need officially released tablatures. \m/

Really bad muddy tone. I'm afraid that with the departure of Christopher the quality of writing has also gone downhill, compare this to like Doomsday Machine and judge yourself. Time to step it up again.
That's just your opinion but if you understand how metal is then you would know it just progresses, you may think it's downhill because your not a true fan.
That is really powerful song, powerful solo, riff, melodic all combine in one. That's why i love arch enemy music.
Annsrrone It's fucking cool, but too hard to listen to for hours because of growling - it is the reason for head pain
@@IvanChernenko Since I listen to Arch Enemy I played their songs nonstop and ignored the head pain and now it's disappeared😂👍
underated guitarist

How’s that been going ?
Why do you need a guitar just for drop C / B standard ?
I guess you play on a Floyd
Awesome, but would've been more awesome if it had a split screen with Nick and Michael playing their respective parts
this guy wrote some of the most melodic solos I've ever heard

Fuck yeah it is, so smooth.
Loomis isn't no slouch tho either. He's a good fit.
Loomis is way better
Incredible performance as always. Congrats!
But why didn't you play it with Michael together?
Beast. Great Technique, Great guitarist. Didn't know about him cuz i really wasn't into this genre.
Perfectionist...that's so perfect...love it
OMG my self-steem is so low right now
thats easy to play... takes just a bit time. Only the sweeps are a bit tricky
Don´t worry, since this video I don´t have self-steem
Where is solo in tab?

Me pueden decir que modelo de guitarra es el que ocupa Nick ??
Dean VMNT con tremolo de Floyd Rose

Nevermind -- I eventually figured it out! Gonna make a cover soon.
Powerful riff and solos
Love it!!!
Thank you Jason 🤘
It would be awesome if Michael will play his part and then go with the split screen with nick's part
right
great guitar sound i like it
one of my favourite guitarists \m/-_-\m/
yep, still as coool sounding as ever everytime i end up on this vid never gets stale
Nice Sweep technique man awesome
Nick, you kick ass bro!
Does anyone know what happened to Nick?
Quel monstre ce Nick Cordle :')

Perfect solo! :D

Man, I would call this "how to have no self esteem in 1 easy step"
You get to watch what the guy plays, I literally learned the whole song from this video.

Great cover.
That sweep was as fast as my father was when he left
My father is just like the bassist in this video
lol I'm at 120 BPM, still trying to learn that part. 35 more to go
What is the model of the guitar? So lovely...

AMAZING!!
Nick cordle is the reason I started listening to arch enemy,it's a shame that he left
Jeff Loomis is better, ha
Even if Jeff is better, which I don't necessarily agree with, Nick is far more tasteful
What's the tuning on the guitar?
thomas duggan drop c
nice thanks...great sound
I was really hoping for a lesson. I am a noob at guitar still but I want to play music that I like.
Arsis lead guys seem to be cut from a different cloth. Both Nick and Brandon Ellis really did some awesome solos in the other bands they worked with
WHERE IS THE 1ST SOLO AND 2ND SOLO TAB?
there's no tab for solos.. it's just for rythm parts
Toca bien vergas este cuate o.o casi a nadie les sale tan limpios los solos cuando hacen una demo... Y el hasta los armónicos y todo.... Woooooow
Tell me, please, where I can take a backing track of this song for guitar (with vocal - same as your)? Thanks in advance for your reply!
Too bad I don't have a floyd rose. Just a standard tremolo. I tend to play Michael's solos.
Grant Stoutenburg You are a lead guitarist?
Toca muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuito!!!
Someone could tell me what kind of Dean Guitar he use?
Enzo Cordle Its like a Mustaine VMNT but with a tremolo, just try to search "Dean VMNT Tremolo" and you'll find what you need.
Whats the amp hes using? jcm800? what else, and what pickups? and strings?
+chazzy licks its quite interesting, both Nick and Michael used stock Dean pickups rather than a big name brand. he was a marshall user, not sure what strings tho
WOW!!! Awesome!! I like Arch Enemy and Nick Cordle is a Fucking AMAZING Guitarist!!!!! :O
2:27 how to use that's technique
Divebome with tremolo Ber
Damn this guy has 10 feet tall fingers honestly
Fm?
what string does he use? guage? anyone? is it in C standard?
they´re always C standard , but I don´t know about the strings :(

Try playing it just by listening !
Nocturnus - Alter Reality please....
This is no lesson, this is more like guitar cover!
Please, how to play The world is yours.
does it have guiitar solo tab?
no, only rythm
but why if it's official tab on disk so they should upload solo tab too
well i don't know if the tabs that come along with the album have the solos , but this tab for war eternal it doesn't
yes, the tabs don't have the solo ... and also as i know You will know my Name is in B standard i think
***** woah, didn't knew.. they didn't used that tuning since Burning Bridges :)
Could you upload it for GP5 users?
Rename the file extension to .gp5
SacrifixeNL negative. that's not working

JEAN MICHEL ROMERO Cordle is a very good player, but Loomis is leagues above.
Loomis is a better guitar player, though I like Cordle's writing a lot more.

respect 🥰
What tunning is this song played in?
C standard
Cool !! ^^
This is fucking WAR!!!
So hoooooot *_*
