One thing about EXO's music stylistically speaking, focused on their vocals. When I said vocals, it really is vocals. You did point out how the amount of members gave them freedom to replace instruments to vocals. Well, that's exactly why they do. EXO are know for multiple vocal layering in one song or using vocal as an instrument. They do this in a lot of their song. They also love tight harmonies.

The sad thing is that many groups don't use the fact that they have a group of singers to their advantage. They only use it to show a great dance performance but they shy away from harmonies and some don't even do adlibs. I hope in the future they can incorporate those more because it's something that solo singers obviously won't have so it will be unique to groups.

You should check out Really Bad Boy by Red Velvet. They are from the same company and are the female equivalent of EXO. Strong vocals, rnb feel, experimental, etc. Their main vocalist's range goes from Eb3 up to Eb7. RBB is a vocal heavy song that features lots of ad libs so you might want to check out both the music video and live performance to catch all of it's intricacies.

Kai has a few dramas that he’s done overtime & some artist collaborations along with Baekhyun who also has some artist collaborations of his own. D.O. has a few current films/dramas that he’s starred in. Chanyeol had starred in drama called “Missing Nine” and has some solo songs where he sings & raps. Suho has recently been dominating fashion world when solely attended Privé Alliance Event along with Baekhyun who also made an appearance. I haven’t heard much about Xiumin activities since he will be enlist very soon along with Suho (I’m not sure when that will be). On other hand it’s being reported that Chen, one of main vocalists is the first korean member of EXO to make a solo debut (no worries) they are still a group; the members themselves are preparing for the next step in their careers, so when the older members have to enlist then come back after 2 yrs they have something to fall back on until the rest of the members return from military.
Kris had earned role in the 3rd XXX: Return of Xander Cage movie with Vin Diesel along with other roles before that. LuHan has also been in a few movies himself back in China. As far as Tao has been promoting allot of his own projects (I unfortunately haven’t heard much about Kris, Luhan, and Tao)!

You should check out Really Bad Boy by Red Velvet. They are from the same company and are the female equivalent of EXO. Strong vocals, rnb feel, experimental, etc. Their main vocalist's range goes from Eb3 up to Eb7. RBB is a vocal heavy song that features lots of ad libs so you might want to check out both the music video and live performance to catch all of it's intricacies.
