@@lauraquigley6403because she is innocent until proven guilty and we all have our opinions however I’ve learned to wait until trial and see what evidence comes into the trial because as we all know not ALL EVIDENCE comes into trial.
Your honor, we appreciate the cameras in the courtroom. In modern times we should have all court proceedings on video. I know you disagree but we thank you for these hearings.
The plump one is so obnoxious! “I wouldn’t eat cold eggs”, most ppl would and he did! She says things as if they are clearly on her side but nope, she’s so wrong on most arguments!😂
Change in defence council meant delays. Plus so many motions with her trying to get bond, clarity of charges some charges will be move to another charge, access to see her kids, all prelim hearings were all denied. Kouri had life insurance policies on the boys and all of the money in the trust is for the boys. She also attacked the SIL when the sister stoped her getting into the safe the morning after the murder.
Cases like this take years to prepare. Too many people involved, too many moving parts, too many calendars to coordinate , etc. It’s the defendant’s right to a fair trial.
Maaany cases take years, - i wanna tell why, but I see @denisewilson9783 (the first answer) explained it well already May it be justice for Eric, his sons, and rest of his family ⚖️ 💙🕊
This isn’t victorian times where the only evidence presented is sorta fingerprints, rudimentary autopsies and witnesses. They have ALOT more evidence/discovery to go through and litigate. Then there was a change of venue and change of judge in Bryan’s case which is a death penalty case that now gets heavily litigated and a change of counsel n Kouri’s case. What constitutes as a speedy trial today certainly isnt what it used to be and anyone wanting to bypass that isn’t searching for truth and justice.
So they have all the time possible to get all evidence. To get it right. Would suck if they got off and then critical evidence came up that proved they’re guilty but can’t charge them again
Why do people always think that because there are no tears, the person must be faking? I am on Zoloft and cannot produce tears due to the drug's side effects.
Best judge, and I really like Kouris attorneys. They are very likable. They know how to be respectful to state witnesses and get the info they want out of them. Jury's don't like when defense attorneys are rude to witnesses just doing their jobs. She is guilty as sin in my opinion. Probably the only one I dont like in the courtroom
If Eric was a full blown drug addict as Kouri, and her family alleges. Where are the photos of Eric having bloodshot eyes, or looking high? As a recovering addict, I regretfully have photos of myself. More than I'd like to admit, of me being inarguably high. And Visine doesnt hide drug sagging eyes 100% of the time. In every single photo Ive seen of him, he looks completely sober. Addicts can spot other addicts, and I see no proof that he was one.
It’s a question of whether she should have been mirandized. There’s a legal requirement for reading someone’s rights that should be resolved. Bringing in evidence that can be used later to overturn the verdict doesn’t help anyone.
“Judge, here are 100 exhibits I want to admit without complying with the Rules of Evidence. When I refer to them in my brief, you can then pull them to read yourself.” Uhhhhh…no.
She is fully aware of her loss of rights to maintain privacy of anything in her possession that is not clearly labeled as attorney/client privilege information as well as any phone call she makes while in custody….i don’t know why this is such a surprise to her defense. Another example of her narcissistic ego not liking accountability upon exposure.
I get where you’re coming from, but there are laws and constitutional rights to unlawful and seizure. Maybe those are the things that she googled instead of what she did because then she would’ve known that she could have declined handing over her phone until they got a warrant for her phone.
@@Tammy_26Irwin technically they had a warrant to search her home and her person for any dangerous pills and for any digital devices that would show her as procuring such pills. The phone was seized away from her home, from inside of her vehicle while she was in a police car, in custody. They later requested another warrant for the vehicles, but this was after the seizure and she was not mirandized prior to being asked to retrieve the phone from her vehicle. The question is whether to dismiss the cellphone as evidence based on the improper seizure.
@@riannarodriguez9759 They were required to mirandize her, to let her k ow she could have an attorney and not answer any of their questions, or else any info they received from her would not be able to be used against her. I'm always surprised how out of shape some of your police officers are, this one, I hope she has the strengh to follow her dog, when its on a chase...That wouldn't fly in my country, she would never be admitted, unless she lost some kilos!
Wait. Funny jow this title is different from BK trial. So this isnt a bombshell...or judge "slamming" the defense? Oh wait. Its a woman so its different.
@Kouri_Innocence I have read a lot about it. The part that makes me think she's guilty was the "Walk the dog" letter and the first attempt at poisoning her husband. That time, he took an epi-pen and was ok. Those things plus all the text messages and the drug dealers testimony make it near impossible to believe in her innocence.
This judge has the BEST voice. It's a pleasure to listen to him.
I love, love the Judges voice. I feel Kouri is completely guilty.

That letter should be used in evidence of course they want it suppressed
Of course, the defense always wants almost all the incriminating things suppressed
