    Hi Lovlies,
My name is Judea and I am a 28 yr old Mama of 3 - one angel, my toddler Son and another little girl on the way - living in New Zealand. This channel is a space for me to show the realities of my life after losing our daughter to SIDS. The highs, the lows and everything in between, you get a mixed bag of “content” here but always from a place of honesty.
Thank you so much for your support!

At least she’s being honest bless her ❤She’s not like some of these dreadful ‘influencer’ types that pretend they’ve had a baby and everything is all perfect and wonderful and having a baby is a breeze and all shiny and smiles 🙄give me a break !! We all know how tough it can be and this young mum is coping as we all do .. the best we know how ! She deserves all the love and support we can give her and all her little ones ❤

I'm sorry you're struggling so much on top of being sleep deprived. So glad you were able to get a run in to help burn off pinned up emotions (that was always my favorite past time when I used to run). Praying Ever starts sleeping longer for you and that you are also able to find peace of mind so you can rest when she does. Loved your vlog❤❤❤

I believe Brogen is doing his fair share. I don't think he would ever leave her in the dust to do everything herself. I believe he's helping out as much as he's able.
I also feel that she's comfortable enough to ask him for nighttime help if she needed it. And I truly believe he would be there to help her if she asked.
I think they are working as a team to parent their children. But I think he stays out of the videos as much as possible by choice.
I do miss them being together tho.
    However...that's their business.
I can't help but hope they somehow work things out between them.
    They are so cute together.
And they are a beautiful family.

Your are doing the best you can , give yourself grace and remember to be kind to yourself not just to everyone else , your navigating this new life and pivoting with every situation and your handling it all so well, tears don’t mean it was failure day , it means you were stronger those days to keep pushing❤ in case no one has cheered you up, you got this, your emotional strength during this time will be something you look back on “like I did handle that the very best I could” 💐

Postpartum is so difficult. I laugh about it now, but each day I would tell myself 'if I can just make it to the next nap or the next meal, I'm ok'. Then i said 'if I can make it to the next day, I'm ok'. The stretches get longer and you'll start feeling well again. My youngest didn't nap well and it's mentally taxing. Give yourself grace 🩷💙🩷

I enjoyed watching this weekly vlog format. I imagine it’s hard to film for a few solid hours when you’ve got a newborn and a toddler and I liked the little snippets of every day of the week.
The idea of co sleeping to me was always a scary one and one that I chose not to do although I know many mums who have and who enjoyed it. It makes complete sense why you would have reservations after losing Noah-Lee and it’s honestly not something you have to explain.
I find my little boy grounds me and brings peace and purpose to my life. It shines through how much your children mean to you.

Have you tried a heating pad (on low) or a baby hot water bottle with warm water put between you and baby while you are holding her or when she is having tummy time. That might help her tummy. Sounds like she has tummy problems and that helped my new born. I was also told by a pedritiation to rub the tummy counter clockwise which is supposed to help with tummy pains and gas. Good Luck. I've not seen those silk cot liners and unsure how they are to be used. It feels triggering for me as a cot death mother. I know a cot should be clutter free and no loose bedding or items within the cot. Apologies. Our baby died. I don't know whether the loose muslin I had draped over the end of the crib to save our baby's head from sticking to the top of the mattress contributed to his death but I've always feared it did. I had oiled his head for cradle cap, hence the reason for the muslin. When baby was found it was bunched against or near his face. In the panic we don't know.. Many decades later and the memory is still raw. The guilt never leaves. I think you are doing so well, Judea. It's the toughest of journeys to navigate. Sending love. ps Later edit and happy you didn't use the silk liner just yet.

I remember that you did babywearing with Echo. Maybe putting baby girl in a carrier would make things a lot easier around the house.. gives you two free hands haha 🤗 but maybe you're doing that already... since TH-cam videos only show so much 🙏

I'm 3 weeks and 3 days out from giving birth and I was worried I'm bleeding too long this time, with my other daughter I only bled like 2 weeks and now I'm still bleeding really bad😩 especially when I'm active, at night it almost stops and I get my hope up but soon as I'm up moving around,it returns😮‍💨 going for a early 4 week check this Friday so maybe they can ease my mind and let me know it's normal

Suckling - whether comfort or feeding is how they boost your supply to help it regulate. So I'd probably let her comfort suck. Lay down with her side by side and feed while you have a nap. She will start sleeping better if she can suck whenever she needs it. This is why they say not to introduce a dummy before 6 weeks old while your supply is still being established as it takes a full 6 weeks to get it to regulate. ❤

This! It’s such a common experience. If it gets worse, get her checked for ties by someone who is trained to do so otherwise it’s probably just her going through a very common baby feeding stage.

Hi judea, hope you are feeling more rested. The newborn days are so wonderful and so tiring at tye same time. Have you tried putting Ever in the baby carrier whilst shopping, i found that helped with my little one. X

I totally understand you not wanting to bed share but please with your level of sleep deprivation at the minute please just set up your bed NOW for safe bed sharing in case it happens one night from desperation. Following the safe sleep 7 it can be done safely and is no more risky for SIDS than baby in the bassinet.
