Product Description
The King Arts Mazinger Z figure stands 9.45 inches (24cm) tall and is made of die-cast and ABS materials. This Mazinger figure features a high level of articulation and is full of gimmicks and effects and even includes a removable Jet Pilder.
Mazinger's Armor can be completely removed to expose his inner workings and can be replaced by a complete set of battle damaged armor.

I remember as a kid I would love to draw mazinger all the time. My one great find was on a trip to Mexico, we went to a market and there I found this awesomely huge mazinger z figure made out of this cheap shampoo bottle like plastic. The thing was really cheaply made and painted, but it had all these cool details. Wish I still had it

I have been leaving Bandai behind, their robots keep getting smaller and their prices keep getting bigger. Very happy with my CM Corp Grendizer, Yamato Danguard Ace, King Arts Mazinger, Great Mazinger and Grendizer. Also pre-ordered King Arts Jeeg with horse. Other companies are quickly catching up.
Those other companies you mentioned are gone now unfortunately. The only companies I think give Bandai competition are Sentinel and Action Toys..but they arent cheap either. Its a sign of the times. Bandai isnt getting cheaper but what they cut away in size they make up in quality...they still make big figures here and there but they charge a premium.

shouldn't he have the Jet Pilder instead of the Hoover Pilder? I mean these damages he have are from the movie Mazinger vs. Ankoku Daishogun, that was a alternate version of the last episode of Mazinger Z and introduce Great Mazinger. At this time the Hoover Pilder was already destroyed and replaced with the Hoover Pilder

The jet pilder is included (oddly enough) with the Great Mazinger King Arts figure that will be coming out soon. I saw it on the preview videos.

Yup those screws look very bad dam it does offer a lot do has the inner frame that is a win but dam screws but the test is awesome bad ass figure right there

It looks more like a 1/100 if the Z is 18m tall, as it looks just as big as one of my MG Gundam.
Ermm this is the 1/9 scale because if you look at other figures that are 1/9 scale you'll see that they are the same size.
It came with the batteries, how do you not have them

Was there ever a damaged Mazinger in the comics or cartoon? I don't remember ever seeing it.
Impossible Pie : on both manga and anime. Actually this damaged version of the figure is taken from the 45 minute movie Mazinger Z Vs the Great General Of Darkness, released in 1974.

It should be. A 1/9 figure is about 7 or 8 inches tall. This Mazinger should be bigger than me at 1/9 lol

The SOC will be cheaper. Won't have extra swappable armor to switch between regular and damaged version, but for the price of this King Arts you can buy both SOC GX-70 and GX-70D. Bandai's QC will also be better but King Arts is larger..

Unfortunately there isn't a cheap mazinga with led.
Light up eyes gimmick is cool but on display I don't ever have LED on. Depends on if it is very important to you to have LED eyes.
By now if you don't have the KA or GX-70... just wait for GX-105. Looks like an excellent update.

In reality this is the tela 1/9 scale because if you look at other figures 1%9 scale figures you'll see that the are tall as this one.
