Anyone old enough to remember when Allan McNish rammed his Toyota into the barriers coming through 130r in 2002? Me and my mate were saying prayers, lighting candles and laying wreaths, then he climbed out of the wreckage like he had just parked it after getting a puncture! You doing 12h Sebring?

if you ever see this, with slow downs, you have 30 plus seconds to give up the time. all you have to do is lift slightly on a straight and it will go down by a couple of tenths, or brake earlier for a corner. do that repeatedly within the 30 seconds and it will be gone in no time without losing much time at all
I thought getting rid of them immediately was the best way, I'll test your theory out tho.

Hey James! I have noticed that you are limiting your brake input to 80% aprox, I tried this a loooong time ago, and didn’t work for me. Any tip with that?
For me, for whatever reason, it's just quicker & more consistent on iRacing to cap it at 80%; in most cars. I guess it stops me being overly aggressive on the brake & locking up, weirdly tho it just seems to be me that prefers it, my teammates don't cap the brake at all.

After the tight chicane to the left followed by the the run uphill into the big left sweeper (u missed that turn and went wide all day)… why didnt you start to ease up right after the rumble strip on the right hand side of track and modify your style?
I couldn’t believe you kept missing that turn all day and didn’t modify your lifting or breaking points at that corner.

james please upload / stream more iracing especially the super formula watching those battles are more entertaining than F1. Plus as someone who is trying to drive more of the sf23 i like seeing how you drive. 😊
16th to 7th in 1 lap is pretty toit. Hell, you had 3-5 places by turn 1 just for nailing the lights and launch.
That final lap of the first race was totally fair. He held that outside line, barely. Amazing finish.

You still had 25 seconds left to take the penalty, you don’t need to slam on the brakes you can loose it in the corners so use as many corners as possible
Also you can allow your self to be at racing speed for the end of the penalty so that you don’t loose for any longer
