Baek in-ha is still my favorite character in the drama. She had abandonment, love and security issues. First her parents passed away, then her beloved grandfather, she was abused by her aunt because she was beautiful and used it as a weapon against her. Her brother couldn't forgive Jeon so he left her for the second time to save himself. The first time I understood him but the second time I think he should of taken her with him, but then again he understood that In-Ha had stability and protection with Jung. Baek In-ha tried her hardest to be loved sincerely by Jung and his grandfather but neither of them truly did and so she turned her beauty into a weapon herself. Even until the end when the old man sends her into a mental hospital and both him and Jung denounce her as family, still she doesn't want to be abandoned. Even in her own crazy way she loved that family, understood and accepted their twisted mindset because she wanted to just belong somewhere. Her nerdy boyfriend was her saving grace, he really started to like her sincerely and although she didn't think much of him at first you can see at the end how happy and loved she felt in his presence.
I really do feel bad for in ha. For years she poured to loving jung and in the end she wasn’t enough for him. That doesn’t excuse her behavior and acts but I do understand her pain. Not being loved so she turned to money and materialism for happiness because she never got that in return.
If she truly love Yoo Jung she should be happy that Yoo Jung is happy with Seol. And not ruin Jung’s happiness. She is self-centered. She only cares for what will benefit her.
She was pitiful but she never truly "loved" Jung lol she was just obsessed over him. And the fact that she grew up with him and saw people turning away from Jung after realising what he's like made her believe she's the only one who'll ever be there for him. Even though she wasn't truly "there for him", she just liked feeling like she belonged to a high society with money and power.
The brother and sister both are after "comfortable benefits" they get from Jung and his dad.. this movie is very sad tho.. we see them smiling dancing playing the piano .. but Jung is not going to have any happiness at all.. smh.. everyone sees all the flaws of Jung.. but never the wrath and greedy ways of inho&inha..

No one ever tried to get him and the only two people he considered his friends ended up just being his dad's spys and were mainly next to him to "help him learn to become normal" or whatever. Of course he developed serious trust issues and couldn't believe anyone easily. He became closed off while acting all smiley and "nice" just for the sake of his dad. Atleast Baek Inha and Inho had each other. Jung needed attention and love just as much them.

She was abused by her aunt, she didn’t know what being loved felt like because no one loved her, apart from Jung and In Ho she didn’t have any other friends or even just someone she could talk to. Her love for money became her escape mechanism away from people and even away from herself. I believe she did love Jung at one point (not just for his money) and I think no one knew Jung as well as she did. She saw through his facade and acting. She knew he was a little messed up being his mask. But what I hate is that because she knew him so well, she was convinced he belonged to her or was obligated to be with her. That’s what made her ‘crazy.’ Her obsession with trying to make things go back to the way it was with Jung, her brother and herself.
They hated her in this one at first because it was way to over the top and "fake" but I loved it because it was so dynamic and different. At the end especially towards the end when she goes ham on Jung and in the hospital she left the entire audience in awe
