So happy to have a new vlog from you! Your honesty and humility honestly makes you a standout amongst the menagerie of other British dressage TH-camrs that are just looking for attention, followers & sponsors. You can tell you aren't trying to make everything look perfect, show off, or make yourself into something you're not. You share the good, the bad, the honest and it's SO refreshing.
I competed a long-time ago for GB in a different sport, canoeing. BUT, the ups and downs mentally are the same. Some days it's your mind, others it's equipment, and at times it's your body. Keeping it all balanced 💯 is so tough and you have to factor in an animal and its abilities into the equation. What I'm trying to say is you have to remember it's a journey to get where you're going. Full of twists and turns that will ultimately get you to where you need to be if you don't forget how far you've already progressed. Go back 4 years and rewatch your journey, see how far you've already come, and then look forward, imagining the same amount of improvement. Sometimes you need to see it to believe it. Chin up hun xx🥰 ps. I did ride competitively too for a while so I do understand the struggles.
Yay! New upload! Love you’re videos especially your rides at home and talking through training. Please do more of these if you can. I love how you do real content and talk through your training. Young horses especially are going to mistakes in training and instead of pretending it doesn’t happen like a lot of equestrians on social media you talk through them/show how to build from them. Forever grateful to have found your channel, teaching me I’m not alone and to enjoy the journey. Thank you!
So good to have a blog from you!!! Love your thought breakdown of the horses and your actions. It is such great self reflection and I truly enjoy listening
Nice to see you again! Enjoyed the non-perfectness and liked seeing your i2 horse and your baby horse in 1 video. Very little content out there on the learning process, lots more on the finished horses.
Wow Eagle has come so far! I remember when I first started watching you wouldn’t ride him in a double and had often said he was wonderful but didn’t have the strength to go beyond (I think it was) Inter 1. He’s so lovely and I’m honestly so proud of you two as a team!
Really enjoyed the Vlog. You have long days full of hard work. It’s a full life. Really fun to see you working with such a nice young horse. Not that your other horses are not nice, it’s just nice to see a young one learn.
Lovely to see you sharing again. Keep keeping it real. Don't dread the down feelings, they're part of how you recognize the up feelings. You do good; well and good.
I've said it before and I'll say it 100 times more but you're mum is the sweetest lady with the best sense of humour.
