    This was one of my favorite podcasts you’ve recorded yet! The conversation was so organic and rich with wisdom. Your podcasts make me feel like I’m present for the conversation. Thank you. ❤️

    What a better way to spend my Independence day's morning, watching a nice 2hr podcast from you guys. Cheers.

    This was awesome. I was so into the conversation that I didn't even realize that it was over 2 hours long. This was organic like a couple of old friends just having some good conversation. I enjoyed it very much. Mahalo.

    Holy crap. This was terrific. I feel like an "insider" listening to the roots of where these two come from. Please, please follow their suggestions and add those "historical" artists to your plans for future 'casts. And thank you for recording and not 'cutting.' Otherwise we might have missed the 7-string strat... :-) (Nice that Cynthia stuck around, too.)

    When you folks sit and listen to Bryan and Hale talk do you as high level players get motivated as much as we do? When I first saw that this was a two plus hour podcast I almost didn’t hit play. As a matter of fact I let it sit overnight. But it was like eating peanuts, I couldn’t stop watching.
    Thank you, I absolutely loved it, plus I learned so much. Wes

    I love that Corey is so intimidated by the open jam and yet he is one of the most amazingly gifted players around.

    Thank you for not editing out much! Looking forward to the whole episode.
    BTW, I missed out on the Pono AB6 but was lucky to get one (from someone who bought it from HMS) w/ Rosette Diamond Secure Classical Guitar String Ties.

    Watching this. I can only think of how CRAZY IT WOULD’VE BEEN if one. Of my closest friends who was also my best man at my wedding was on. This particular podcast. THE ONE AND ONLY. CHINO MONTERO🤙🏼. Miss him so much. Learned. So so much. About music and most of all life

    • @HawaiiMusicSupplyTUS
      @HawaiiMusicSupplyTUS  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      YES! Chino was the man. I was always blown away by his musicality, humor, wisdom. I got to help make a few ukes for him and worked on his Taylors. A musical genius. I was about to mention him at one point in here talking about wanting to capture the islands best. Mahalo for this comment.

    • @HawaiiMusicSupplyTUS

      He played our Grand openings twice for free too. Refused the money. Unreal.

    • @nkeonim
      @nkeonim 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yes. That was him. I had the honor. Well. More like. “A. Keoni. Go hold my UKE play. Around with it get the feel of it with the low G.” That was the first UKULELE you folks made for him back in 03 04 and. I was super lucky enough To use that UKULELE to play with him at my Wedding well. Lol. ACCOMPANY him. Lol. He also told me about you folks back in 97 98 “ Keoni you gotta come check out these guys who fix and service my Guitars. They starting to make Ukuleles. And. Da FAKAS sound like Martins . In fact better”. lol this was when you folks were more. By Nankos.across the street Upstairs then you folks moved downstairs also.So. Him and I went to check it out and the rest is history lol. I bought an all Mahogany at the old Coconut grove shop in 98 wont say the price. Cause. It won’t cost like that now. And got a custom built one from you folks in 2000. OH. IF you folks want to hear how sweet the all Mahogany sounds. Chinos song to his Girlfriend at that time Kealoha O Anna he used that All Mahagony ukulele.i can go on and on about my. Good Bradda but. I’m sure the whole world knows. How. Awesome of a HUMAN BEING he was. And what a Coincidence. This podcast. Was. Cause Chino always told me when I was starting. “A. No need shred scales and licks the whole song and every song Music gotta f. Kn breathe boy fill in the pukas when it is needed”. Lol. Sorry. He used the f word here and there. Lol getting carried. With a few of. Many stories Anyways. He did a lot for so many and it will never be forgotten. And awesome to see You folks doing so well. Ill stop by one day with the 2 ukuleles it’s been a long time since I’ve been to your folks place. Lol back when it was by the veterans cemetery in Kaneohe. 05 I believe😳. Time sure does fly.... Aloha... and again so great to see where you folks are now ..God Bless .

    If you from Hawaii living in the Hawaiian Kingdom why do you call North America USA the mainland? Donʻt you know that Hawaii is a foreign country to the USA as Japan or Canada? True history is important...All of the Hawaii islands are my mainland. Just saying.
