    I was training memory regularly, I got 26 seconds 30 images and then am giving up due to procrastination and fear to get the personal best or else it is heart breaking!! I also put the video yesterday in youtube channel and also in the live stream (older ones) section as well

    I never hear of this, when I was young my mum tried so hard to make me train my memory as I was forgetting important things and losing things. I would do memory and logic puzzles and it was so fun, it didnt solve my issue, that just took organisation however I did enjoy it and I naturally started building systems in my head to bring myself to remember things like what do I have to do today?

    The intro was so funny! I wasn't aware of the existence of memory sports, so it was an interesting intro. A question: does practice of memory techniques improve your natural memory, or does it just give you tools for recalling the information? The question may sound silly, but I imagine there's a difference between just knowing stuff and knowing how to remember it, much like between having an item on you and having it at home. Like, when someone asks you, "When did ww2 end?" and you reply, "One minute, I'ma drive to my mind palace real quick", it doesn't seem very natural :) so I am a bit curious how it feels to use those things in everyday life.

      This is a very interesting question. I think there are many other aspects to consider but in general I'd say:
      1. When you get familar with these techniques they will be more and more part of your daily life. You might start to use them more frequently on many things just because you can. So if you don't trust your "Natural memory" for certain things you would just chose Memory techniques instead. They kind of become your "Natural" way of memorizing
      2. When you learn things with memory techniques and you do regular reviews at some point you might not even need to recall the specific location in your palace any more because the information has become part of your natural memory.
      However this is just my personal experience. Sounds like good stuff for another video :) Thanks
