Super dangerous for the crews to cut up this wreckage. It could shift at anytime. Some parts could still be under load and making a cut could make a part act like a spring and hit men and equipment. Be safe people.

The ship still needs to be manned and tended to. I would imagine the shipping company will set up a crew rotation so no one has to stay on board for too long a time.

I read somewhere that there were cars on the bridge when the ship ran into it. How long was the ship without power? Couldn't they have singled or called the port authorities to warn them so that they could evacuate the bridge?
I believe they did send out an emergency to get all the civilians off but the workers were not able to get off before the collapse

Didn't realize the concrete columns weren't poured solid! They are closer to bridge box beams! I guess that was the technology of 50 years ago? That's the part I didn't understand about the bridge collapse! Not sure if the same outcome would've been the same if the concrete columns were poured monolith? Maybe it was a weight bearing problem to the river bottom!
