Look at how much higher the driver sits in the FTR compared to the F-650. That huge window (and the 3 wipers) also gives the driver a much better view of the road ahead.
It's the reason why in Europe big trucks and little trucks have "Flat nose" contrary to typical trucks in us with long bonnet taking a lot of space because in Europe we take more about the footprint because roads are more narrow than in us
I drive a freightliner m2 and an Isuzu npr got a friend, and the npr taught me how to be extremely agile and skilled when it comes to parking or backing from tight places
Working for a moving company and driving both trucks, I like the GMC W4500 (Isuzu NPR) for the visibility, turning radius, and overall size. However, for the bigger class 6 and 7 truck I think the Ford style truck is better. Just my opinion.

Isuzu, most people think is less secure because is flat but they're wrong. You can search and see the crash test in both and the flat front is safer.

Was the Isuzu tested with the 5.2 or the Cummins 6.7 ?
This video was taken back at the end of 2018, so it was the 5.2L that was tested.
