this is the best tuner car you could ever buy in a budget and has the hugest aftermarket MARKET! also for the uneducated people who said this engine is old an sucks dont realize that just with a simple cheap turbo these things handle 400hp easy lol. they have crazy mods even converting them to AWD great purchase bro
LMAO! Cameron is loving the 8thgen Vtec! I'm like I hope he's checking the oil on the car for this road trip! 🤣🤣🤣 When your hitting Vtec over and over the 8thgen Si burns oil lol For sure! Every 8thgen Si owner first mods should be intake, header and exhaust with hondata definitely wakes up the car and gets better mpg.
Cam great road trip once again! Some things I would try for your knee pain and other health issues. I'm 57 and back when I was in my 30's I had lots of issues and pain and I was always going to the doctor for tests for gut issues and pain and inflammation. I used to have to wear knee braces when I went bike ridding with my son. I cleaned up my diet and cut way back on sugar and went gluten free and started taking supplements. I increased my sleep from 5 hours to 7 hours and have way more energy and my testosterone is way higher with the increased sleep. I got rid of all my knee pain and inflammation, I no longer have headaches or any type of pain. I go to the doctor once a year for a checkup and I'm never sick. Check out some health videos, like Dr Berg. He does live videos where people can chat a message and he’ll go over it in the video. People can call in and ask questions. Lots of good information . Looking forward to the next video. Have a great day!
Trip I live in El Paso want to see what that 8th gen looks like you got ig I just picked up a boosted 9th gen it’s hard asf to find something clean here. Was about to take a trip back home to LA to look for a car but got lucky with this one
You're at elevation, probably down a good 15 ponies. I suspect my 05 Type S even with some light mods is around 200 crank HP up here in CO. Everything is slower 😂
One of the best things about the 8th Gen Si when I had mine was the stock audio system….apparently it’s a 350 watt system with the subwoofer in the back but man i remember it sounding so much fcking better and way more bass than my 10th Gen Si with its 450 watt audio system. The 10th Gen is so shit from what I remember my 8th Gen sounding like. You need to do an audio test with a bass heavy song and turn up the settings in the menu and confirm if it does indeed sound better and have more bass than the 10th Gen lol
the 8th gen does have more bass than 10th gens. I think its pretty good especially considering its 16 years old. I'm happy with the speakers for now. First 3 things I need to do to the interior are headunit, steering wheel, and mugen shift knob
I handed down my 2012 Civic Si sedan and he is doing a whole intake and throttle body swap, I have a 2017 FK8 now but I'm looking for an 8th gen to Mod if i can get one in good condition like yours.
I recommend coordinating that with your leadership. Your Flight chief should be able to contact your career field manager (CFM) and verify if the base you want to go to has any space for you. If theres no billets available, then you'll waste your BOP like I did
Shyt…. Learn that the hard way with my CAI ON MY 9gen… I wasn’t even in a deep puddle and it hydrolock on me it shut off and blew bunch of white smoke and luckily it turned on a few minutes later…now motor blew on me 120k..😂 but not it’s getting ready to get and k24aRBB
FBO, Tune, and Catless header will get you about 200-210whp on the 8th gen. For reference, they have about 170-180whp stock. To get power gains I'd recommend the Kraftwerks Supercharger, that'll get you between 400 and 500whp depending on the fuel used.
It's gonna be tough/pricey to find new genuine body parts. Especially HFP. For example, I know King Motorsports for Mooogen don't make rear lips anymore.
There are plenty of aftermarket parts from Japanese companies. They're all over Art of Attack and My Japan Direct. I've spoken with both and My Japan Direct is already working on sourcing the front bumper
Did you happen to check the difference on paying for gas, meals, hotel vs just paying for car transport? I get that you want content, just a question as it was a long ass drive.

I tried using it on my family trip to Georgia on the i-40 but couldn't use it constantly due to the semi trucks over taking everything in their path at painfully slow speeds 😭

skunk2 header, full race exhaust and hybrid racing intake with hondata flashpro tune and it will feel crispy until you boost it
This ^, I had this exact setup and I loved it !
Hell yeah and add an acuity shifter
8th Gen is the best, great road trip
The road trip / new car purchase vlogs are the best 👍👍
I drove my 98 Eclipse from San Diego to Minnesota. Took me 3 days to get home

In Canada we got the Acura CSX Type S, might be cheaper for certain parts to find them used in Canada.
So true.
must be cheaper in the long run if he bought a csx right off the bat too.

Yes headers and exhaust then later on down the road supercharger or turbo
If you headers might as well get the supercharger bc you can’t use it when going turbo.
When hes flooring it and barely passes trucks on the highway😂. Brz was quicker for sure
You gotta use waze, it tells you everything about traffic, I would rather say in place and chill than drive on dirt roads in my car f dat!
