    When it comes to a woman vs guy paying on a date (romantic), in my opinion, I believe the guy should cover things like that. Especially coming from an Islamic mindset and perspective where the husband is due to financially providing, he should be ready or willing to do that and how they act on a date would portray that. Basically, gentleman behavior. Giving her a sense of security, like with me, I got you. As for the woman, if I was going to do a nice gesture for him, I'd probably cook/bake something for him, add a card, etc. Or if we were going to do another date, a picnic and I'd bring all the food and set it up. Balance.
    I understand with it being 2022 that many customs and ideologies from back then are being labeled as outdated. However, Islam is Islam and the responsibilities of husbands and wives are laid out.

      @Simm JJ no not all al hamdulilah im married cook and clean all the time and my husband works I dont think this depends on how she was raised as well bc I am different then my siblings with this and my mindset. I honestly think for me it’s about being on deen and knowing your place and your husbands place and the different roles we are supposed to play I believe personally Allah created us differently and I will be rewarded inshaAllah for taking care of my spouse home and children there is no reason for me to try to do both and go to work if I dont need to I think its really important as muslims for men and women to each play their roles and its so important if your planning to have children for there upbringing. Also I dont think its anyones responsibility because the prophet sallahu alayhi w salam used to help around the house but I also think it depends on if the women is working etc and how hard the mans job is if the husbands job is tiresome and the women is at home taking care of the house etc I see it as thats my role if al hamdulilah his providing everything I dont personally understand the mindset these days of women trying to do it all its like women who are homemakers or stay at home mums are looked down upon for some reason these days they are expected to work etc it’s honestly sad

      @@Muslimah0183 Most definitely! To piggyback off of your point, today's society is very different especially with capitalism, taxes, and being overworked with minimum wage jobs and such.
      Also, sometimes it isn't as easy for people to finish school, then going to college, then marriage, then children. Sometimes it does not happen in that order, especially if people are trying to avoid zina in a hyperscuxalized society.
      So some people will get married before having a good paying career or figuring their money situation out which is fine because Allah does encourage marriage and children even with poverty. It's not mandatory though so you could also choose to wait, it's a matter of preference. Falling into zina is way worse too.
      So if they don't have their high paying career yet but they have a job that pays little ,enough to cover an apartment, bills, food, baby expenses but not extra things such as furniture or something- and they work long hours and are mentally and physically drained- this is where our situation is unique for 2022. This is where a wife can step in and try to work from home (because Allah does not forbade women from working or wanting or help their family) or start an online business or finish taking classes to get a nice paying job and then work temporarily so they can get on their feet. So the husband can have time to finish his classes and get a better job too. So in the end, they can invest and save up for a house and a better lifestyle where they're not living paycheck to paycheck and struggling so much.
      We are living in the hardest of times with many trials and fitnah and we are trying to follow Islam as best as possible while cooperating with the life we live. This also goes hand in hand with trying to avoid riba but it's hard to because credit is involved in everyday living. Insurance as well.
      So when it comes to gender roles in Islam, we know it exists and is harmonious but sometimes there are obstacles.
      May Allah help us all

    Based on what dilara said it might be a hard pill to swallow for loads of career women but before you turn 30 they all have very similar attitude and responses when it comes to comprising in relationship, career women aren't truly ever satisfied as Muslims we need to wake up and realise it says that we must call towards good and forbid evil that includes a husband telling their wife I don't appreciate you working in a male dominated environment cuz that would lead to evil eye and fitnah and equally the man should try to avoid those women dominated environments, free mixing is unacceptable especially as a believer so please brothers and sisters take heed before we're all in the grave.

    To sum up some of the video Kamal was spot on some women especially in the west who are cough feminist don't know what they want in a man, indecisive when it comes to that maybe solid at making decisions at their workplace but that skill doesn't transfer to their relationship due to conflict between biology and societal programming. Wallahi the Deen of Islam is a blessing we should not take for granted it saves us from so much bs and drama women these days don't want to be traditional yet deep down want a man who acts traditional bruh.

  • @wilddon5363
    @wilddon5363 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Islamically it's acceptable to have protective jealousy over your spouse's that goes for both the man and woman, marriage fails when the man doesn't lead and the women wants to play both roles the masculine and feminine, I suggest to anyone with doubts to study Islam in depth and ask your local scholars as many questions as possible with regards to modern day challenges. It's about perspective there's a hadith to the nearest meaning where it's said a believer should try to stop evil with their hands if not with their hands than their tongue and if not with the tongue than at least consider it a vice in their heart as that is the lowest form of emaan (faith), look up the source on Islam QA.

    In my opinion whoever plans the date pays I mean if he planned it he'll pay if she did she'll pay
    if both did then split
    I don't like everything on husband unless if there is a reason like couldn't afford or something then yeah okay
    The period part it is very disrespectful to be honest the fact I got told that but whatever.

      @@HassanKhan-vt6zb Yes I agree. If my wife decided to wear revealing clothing all of a sudden, I will make a point to say I dislike it. There are certain things us as Muslim men cannot accept. If Western women consider that controlling, so be it. It's evident that cultural and religious differences are there.
