Hi David Auntie Brenda is just Awesome!!!....... not only is she pretty but she puts so much effort into her cooking and prepping . All her foods looked so delicious...puddings ...souce ..pickies and breadfruit. It was a lot of hard work but she said she did it for you. Also Auntie Indra's Trini cooking is amazing too ..And the guy climbing the coco nut trees ...such skills. Beers ...rumpunch ...beaches...Barbados seems to have it all. As always Thanks David and be safe with your daughters and the rest of your family. Blessings and Peace.
Does Auntie Brenda sell to the public. I would love to visit her when I go. My husbands family is from Barbados, and I was taught to do souse the old fashioned way. Would loved to try hers!!
WOW, beautiful people so friendly , amazing food and all the history and culture blew my mind, this is one place I will be visiting soon, Trini cooking is amazing it remind me of my Guyenese culture and food ,,,so many memories
Morning David. Hope you had a restful Memorial Day weekend. Just wanted to say congratulations on Miami Heat winning big time last night. Now it's on to the big show on Thursday. Going out now but will watch video later 🥳🎉✌️. Today is Indian Arrival Day holiday in Trinidad 🇹🇹🇨🇦
I should add, these people work very hard & aren't afraid to get their hands dirty & their bodies sweaty! Just amazing to see! IMPO, I think that we in the West would seriously struggle to climb up & down tall coconut trees all day long!😄 The exercise keeps them nice & fit & a really nice way to get & to maintain a six pack. Peace✌
Awesome videos David! I have watched you visit many of the Caribbean islands but always relate it back to Trinidad. Being a Trini myself makes me feel so proud how much you love Trini food!!!! Please send me the name of the owner of the Airbnb in Barbados and also the tour guide/driver while you were in Antigua. Thank you again for your awesome work of highlighting Trini foods and customs❤
Yeah. West Indians do not like you to drip a fork ,put in your mouth and then back in the food! You will spoil a persons food because they will not eat it after. Furthermore, you should get a saucer and use that instead of leaning over the food.
Hi David. Just finished watching this doc. It was such a good reminder of what you did in Barbados. Brenda's menu involved a lot of work. That pig's head was something else. Did you check for snot in the snout and wax in the ears? 🤣🤣🤣 LoL. You really can't beat Trini food: authentic: always imitated, never duplicated. So, now I guess I will have to wait and see what you post next. So hasta la vista bebe.🙏🤗🇹🇹🇨🇦
Love the content, you keep my attention with all the different cultural cuisines. You loose me talking and eating over pots and plates other people eat from, Accidental spray bro not cool. Just the way I was raised, sharing your plate is like sex, it’s personal.
David , I love your videos & travels . How about NOT slurping so much when you're mic'd up ? No talking with a mouth full of food , kind of sounds gross . I'm not trying to be rude just making suggestions to help you have more subscribers . Just take notice of the locals who you hang out with , they don't slurp in every single country you've been to .
The man is enjoying the food so he shows it. We can't sweat the small stuff. It is free entertainment. Applaud instead of complain..... p.s Dude has over 1million subscribers, it's safe to say many people like his content.
@@bluewaterinvestments9360 how about David tells what nationality he really is ? I'm not being mean & nasty but , he's said he's Hungarian , Latin of sort along with several other nationalities . As for talking with fiid in his mouth , I try to interpret what he says and slurping doesn't make it easy to understand him . I'm trying to help him not hurt him ! All these young men try to mimic Mark Wiens when they should just be themselves .
@@tinaboone1016 This is free entertainment. I do not know why David owes anybody an explanation of what his Nationality is. I am kinda confused why that's important to you. The way he eats is just his way of showing his viewers the food is good. Unfortunately, he always has to have his mic close to his mouth so you hear it. We spend hundreds of dollars on cable networks that give us subpar shows on repeat, do we call and ask their nationalities or question how they operate? This is a free show and because of the power of the internet and youtube, we can choose what show to watch. Go easy on him. For a one-man show, I think the dude is doing more than great.
Hungarian and Italian ancestry, nationality is USA full blooded American from Miami. My family isn't Latin. They fled the Holocaust to Latin America and so my parents grew up in Venezuela.
@@Davidsbeenhereyou should not even have bothered to answer that fool. Love the Souse video, I am Bajan, would have liked to taste that, the flavour has to be good. Some people seem to only cook their meat with salt. People like Souse so it will sell especially if it taste good, I do not like alot of pepper though.
George Waithe: Say what? All over the Caribbean, food is adapted and adopted to peoples' own liking and taste. How many Barbadians live in Trinidad now? hi David. Hello dear, I'm Damaris from Chile. I saw you, you left me in love. But I can't believe it, you eat everything. I want you to come to Chile to see me, I will cook for you so that you fall in love with my darling.

‘Let it draw,’ means let it marinate!!
That’s so much work! It’s worth every penny they charge.
You guys made me miss my granny and my aunty Oxley with that pudding and souse prep. 100% bajan to the bone!
Wow Bajan souse and pudding is sooooo different to Trinidad ! I’ve never seen it made like this
Loved this 💛
So Glad you enjoyed it! Have a great week!

Don’t ever bite off pepper (or any food)and throw it back in the food you’re going to serve the people (nasty and unsafe)..
Her nail tech watching this like👀👀🥰
Hi David you're not only eating our food, but you're wearing our national colors. Love the T shirt. Enjoy yourself😊
Thank you so much Joan!!! Have a beautiful weekend!
She said to let it "draw", meaning marinade.

"Let it draw" ...means let the flavors meld/develop/infuse.
I wouldn't necessarily use the term marinate
Absolutely phenomenal thank you. I love you.

I have a meat grinder just like Miss Brenda, but mine have different size attachments to make home made sausage.
Instead of the funnel, she's using, my machine comes with a funnel that can be attach to the machine. Its so much faster.
been twice I like to stay in the rockley beach area real laid back area
i would like to go to Barbados 🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🌴🌴 it's a really good place to be
