And that is another reason I keep posting recordings from this machine. As far as I can tell it's the only one on TH-cam. Great sound in such a compact little package! Here's what I wrote when I posted my first video of it "The Victor Victrola VV 4-20 had a very short production run of only 3 or 4 months in the early part of 1928. It was the last of the acoustic machines as electrically-amplified phonographs had become commonplace. There were roughly 34,000 of these produced. This VE 4-20X is the electric-motor version and only an estimated total of 2,350 were made. The serial number on this machine lands it right in the middle of the production run. When I first picked this up the reproducer needed a rebuild and the tone-arm bracket had swollen and cracked beyond use. After sourcing some new parts and a little elbow grease, rewiring all the cracked and rotted wiring, it's ready to serve another 100 years of providing entertainment!"
