    @EMCEEWILLIAMS Thanks for sharing this the informational video. I have a question regarding labeling the clothing, at what point do you have to get labels stating country of origin and information such as that? Also do you know where you can find this information of what the label might need to include or a company to help with this.

    • @emceewilliams
      @emceewilliams  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question! If you're going to relabel your shirts, you'll need to include: shirt size, origin of manufacturing (country shirt was made in), and the shirt material info. Also, lots of people/brands like to include shirt care instructions.

  • @Bobster986
    @Bobster986 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    The adhesive strip goes on the back, not front. You also want to put a sheet of cardboard inside the shirt before you package it.

    • @emceewilliams
      @emceewilliams  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are certainly many different ways to pack shirts, but I personally don't think cardboard is necessary when shipping shirts using poly bags and mailers. Also, I don't think too many customers mind (or even notice) if the adhesive strip is on the front or the back. With that said, do what works best for you. If the customers are happy, I'm happy.

    • @Bobster986
      @Bobster986 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@emceewilliams a quality shirt always has a thin piece of cardboard to keep the shirt looking flat, so I think your wrong.

    • @emceewilliams
      @emceewilliams  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Bobster986 Okie dokie, Bobster. I'm not going to continue arguing with you about silly things like pieces of cardboard.
      I have never once had a single customer complain about my packaging for any of my clothing brand items or other products I sell.
      I somehow am managing to do just fine without using pieces of cardboard in my packaging,
      Like I already said, do what works for you.
      Also, the shirt is naturally going to stay flat if it is folded properly and sealed tight in a properly sized poly bag and mailer. If there is no air in the poly bag and it is of proper size, the shirt is very likely not going to magically arrive to the customer folded in half.

    at what point would you recommend registering a brand?

    • @emceewilliams
      @emceewilliams  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! IMO, the best point would be after you have tested the market, assessed the feasibility of your brand, and decided that you are 100% committed to growing it and sticking with it for the foreseeable future. Also, make sure it is really something that you are truly passionate about. The grind of growing a brand can be a b*tch at times. Loving what you are doing definitely helps get through the rough days.
