10/10 Public speaking skills with kids. With how ingrained Dogs are into our society, I'm surprised more schools don't teach about the basics of dogs.

Thank you for your kind comment and for recognizing my public speaking skills with children! I completely agree with you that dogs are an integral part of our society, and it's important for people, especially children, to understand the basics of dog behavior and safety. While some schools may not have formal programs, there are many resources available online and through community organizations that provide educational materials on these topics. I appreciate your thoughtful feedback, and I hope to continue spreading awareness about responsible dog ownership and safety in my videos. Thanks again for watching!

I had a Malinois who I thought was a German Shepard when I got her as a puppy. Little did I know what I was in for. True to her breed she needed to “work” and have a job to do. Looking back I wish I’d taken her for training as she was a total handful, but undeniably the best dog I ever had! I miss you, Bimby!

Thank you for sharing, this was so much fun to watch!!!
Super educational, using words and examples the kids could understand, and really showing the power of positive reinforcement and building a positive relationship with your dog.
I thought you did a great job comparing dog body language to people's, and when you said that, just like with friends, if you don't respect them, eventually they won't want to be your friend anymore. That's quite impactful to hear even as an adult.
I think it's fantastic you brought in the Poohpup, and can imagine it being really positively impactful for the children!

She’s only 2 but we’ve done scent work, agility and some tactical positioning work with her and she’s a voracious learner.

you are such an inspiration to me! I am a younger service dog trainer, so very different worlds in terms of dog training haha, but I think any dog owner/trainer could learn a lot from your amazing relationship with your dogs. I cannot express how happy it makes me to see other positive reinforcement based trainers out there! I love your videos and I really appreciate that you take time to teach kids about stuff like this, especially the body language part. It's so, so important that people learn that young. And it makes a difference for disabled service dog handlers like myself when people know even a little bit about dogs and their training; it really shows in our interactions with the public. Sorry for the borderline novella haha

I love this video...a real testimony to your dog training and the stability of your dog. I had a very well trained GSD many years ago...he was also able to be a therapy dog in a nursing home. A well bred dog has this kind of stable temperment. I'm a recently retired high school teacher (30 years). I was also able to bring my dog into the school on occasion. It's so important to teach kids how to treat animals with respect.
