I love seeing stuff like round 2. in an age where everybody just copies whatever decklists did well in the last big tournament its so refreshing to see people still brewing and surprising you.
I love getting so much faerie content, I’m really passionate about the tribe and in 2019 I started building faeries in modern and absolutely ate shit, lost a ton of money on cards that got totally phased out of modern. I learned a lot in the process, but wizards basically decided that slow incremental damage with small creatures is just not fun and shouldn’t exist in most formats. God forbid you have less than 2 toughness
@@isambo400 agreed and that’s not even hyperbole, I genuinely love those sets except for like 2% of cards, faerie seer, hard evidence, sudden edict, shenanigans, all great designs that came from horizons. But it doesn’t matter how many cool cards they added when a couple cards are so ridiculously good that they invalidate everything else!
monarch and initiative are a prime example of wizards focus to make everything commander destroying mtg they are mechanics designed and balanced for multiplayer formats and 0 thought put into balancing for 1v1 and then they show the greedy half by not banning them because it sells packs for sets that effectively flopped, cus they failed to realize commander players don't buy that many cards since they only need 1 of a card
