You open the trunk manually by dropping your rear sets then locket the locking system which is on the middle of a closed trunk. Unscrew the bolts then the trunk will open. Good luck!
I have a different problem. truck is stuck but if l give motor some life it opens ..problem is my right inner park light is not working ..is it related to trunk issue ?

Hi, I need to know how you got the trunk opened manually before I look for the source. Can you explain how you opened the trunk manually please?
You will have to unscrew the trunk handle with T25 torques. Unplug the switch then attach all the wires on the harness then the trunk will open.
