I love the gag of Moegi being surrounded by the stunt actors hired to play the minions in many Sentai seasons while she is cosplaying as the various villainesses, it’s a really small detail that you wouldn’t notice if you didn’t get the in-joke.
But it just cracks me up.

Sup from the future. Akibaranger also showed up in Zenkaiger.
There's also a stealth cameo in a marvel comic. Specifically the season one crew since Moegi is in her catgirl outfit and Mitsuki is there rather than Luna.

I'm only 5 episodes into watching Akibaranger and this is up there with my favourite official seasons!
A great intro song, a great mix of comedy, action and heartfelt moments and so many call-backs to previous Sentai seasons.
I can't wait to see more of this season!

I have actually been trying to find full English subbed episodes of Abaranger, and I am currently enjoying Dekaranger, and I’m also on my second or third watch through of Gokaiger. Toei, please let this man write a story for the 50th anniversary. Please!
