Drain Plunge fail but jetting did the job on Blocked drain 42

- In this one we started with a plunger even tho the customer had already tried, the plunger failed as there was no resistance due to a hidden chamber just a foot away from the one we were working in. jetting it sorted the issue fast but when we inspected with the camera expecting to find root we found nothing.
Special guest was my sister in this one. As you may have guessed, we run a family business and many members of the family like to get involved from time to time, Matt is currently on another project and has not been with us this week.

What a beautiful piece of property. Nice job on the unblock. U have to always make sure u charge ur tools so they dont leave u in a jam. Suprised u dont have the van wired so they charge when u put them back in there place.

They found the 4 inch clogged a lot more often than the 3 inch, so now most all houses have 3 inch main drains, and we don't have those chambers here in the US. It appears the plumbing there is a lot more complicated. Although maybe newer plumbing is different now, as most of what you do seems to be older.
I do get a lot of old property's, i live in a very old area of 100+ years old and more. modern systems are still very similar layouts tho as it works for us and we are use to it i guess. i quite enjoy watching drain channels in USA. very different in NY and Australia have some good ideas too.
We all have to put up with others "crap" in your case, you get paid to do it. Maybe she will stick with it, could probably make a lot more money than cutting hair, although doing both could be great also.
😀Wie gewünscht auf Deutsch , 😅 Interesanntes Haus! In der Manhol steht braune Suppe mit Einlage. Arbeit mit roter Plastik Stange und Gummirosette. Stossrichtung nach allen Seiten. Ein Gespräch mit Dame. Ergebnisse bei Arbeit ? 0. Versuch mit Hochdruckspulung , dann rinnt die Suppe ab. Waschen für Camera Befund. Versuch die Camera im Boden zu Orten. Csnal soweit ok. Papier Test ? Ok. Gute Arbeit! Hab ein paar Fragen : warum wird das Wasser nicht vom Haus verwendet. Gibt doch sicher Wasserhahne im Garten?? Da kommt doch mehr Druck zusammen und Waschen mit mehr Wasser ist doch gründlicher. Gruß aus Österreich 👍
Vielen Dank für Ihren Kommentar. Ja, der Abfluss war tatsächlich verstopft. Zuerst haben wir es mit Abflussstangen versucht und als das nicht funktionierte, haben wir zu Hochdruckwasserstrahlen gegriffen. Nachdem wir die Blockade beseitigt hatten, haben wir mit der Kamera nach Hinweisen gesucht, warum es zu einer Verstopfung kommen konnte, aber nichts Besorgniserregendes gefunden. Wir entdeckten eine Kammer direkt im Haus, die überdeckt war, und die nächste Kammer, die wir orten wollten, befanden wir im Garten des Nachbarn. Das Wasser, das wir verwendeten, kam aus dem Hochdruckreiniger, aber wir ließen nur eine kleine Menge durch, weil wir nicht zu viel spritzen wollten, da sie Säure im Abfluss verwendet hatte und wir auch nicht wollten, dass es überall hinkommt. Wenn wir das Wasser voll aufgedreht hätten, wäre es mit 1000psi herausgekommen, und das ist zu viel. Nochmals vielen Dank für Ihren Kommentar, bleiben Sie gesund.
