While I was watching Alexa speak I got an overwhelming feeling from God that everything in my life is going to be ok. Life will have its ups, downs, and sharp turns but if we persevere with faith, we can find comfort in the fact that our loving God is in control. I want to thank you guys for being a light in this world. It is incredible how after I watch your videos or listen to worship music it is so much easier to see God's hand in the world. I understand exactly what you were saying Alexa!! Two years ago I felt the Lord calling me to Alaska. I left CA terrified and confused with a lot of change before me, but I listened and felt the Lord with me. I got here and my relationship with the Lord grew in a way that I wouldn't have let in CA and I wasn't comfortable in the beginning, but what is worldly comfort in comparison to growing with the Lord? The pay off for taking that step in faith has been overwhelming. God Bless!

God has called you to use your voice and vlog about your lives and share WOWs and WOW, am I ever grateful. What so many people need to realize is while yes they choose to film their life, that doesn't mean they are required to tell us everything or that we're entitled to know everything. This is still their life, they are just allowing us into it, to watch them grow both as a family and people in general. The hate their receiving because people are "concerned" is absolutely absurd, they are making a move that'll be a healthy and positive lifestyle change for themselves and, I absolutely admire their courage to do so. God obviously gave them this calling for a reason so who are you to question that, to question why, what they're thinking or to pass judgement? we see so little 0f their day and in retrospect life, so while you may think you see everything, know everything including what's "best for them" you don't, only they do. It's terrible that people are being so negative.

I don't know why people are being so judgemental on them.. they only show us less than 30 mins of their daily lives, I've been seeing comments like they neglect their dogs etc, they obviously don't mistreat their dogs and they have a newborn baby ofcourse they have to pay more attention to ocean???? Logic???? And there's a lot of people that live in Hawaii, people are making it out like they aren't gonna survive in Hawaii it's ridiculous just let them enjoy their life jeez...

Caity Ruhana I think it was meant more like will they have to be quarantined for a long time? If so, would they leave them with family instead of putting them through that kind of thing. I don't think anyone meant to imply that they may get rid of them to strangers or a shelter. I did ask about the dogs because some places have a very long quarantine period. If it were my dogs I wouldn't want to leave them in a kennel for 6 months until they were cleared. Fortunately Alexa said that is no longer the case but it was a reasonable question. Why people are blowing it up out of proportion I will never understand.

I am 17 yrs old and I take so much out of what you guys believe, and do. You guys are such an inspiration. I have known my whole life my i belong with the water and after watching a lot of your vlogs today I realized Hawaii is really were I need to be. That won't happen for a while obviously but that is were I am thinking god is pushing me. I still want to be part of the medical field so maybe I will go to college in my home state then when I figure out my career path I follow my heart to the sea. A lot of celebrities don't live in LA. They come in to Los Angles and come right back out. Julia Roberts once she had her children moved to New Mexico. Goldie Shawn and Kurt Russell moved to Canada because of there son. So by them moving to Hawaii its not the end of the world. They can travel back and forth.

I recently moved from CT to FL and what Alexa bout comfort zone is sooo true! Being in CT i was in a stagnant place spiritual in my life. Moving to a new place has drawn me closer to God and lean on him more. Of course there are going to be tough days but God is always there and will always be there. My prayers been asnwered(took 1,5 year but finally I'm letting go of a toxic friendship)today I worked in the hospital with old people as a trainee and let me tell ya something. Crazy,but as I helped those old people they made me smile and they said little cute jokes to brigthen up my day. It felt like God was smiling down at me. Literally. It was so heart warming. I feel GOOD.THis line is true: Fulfill your heart with Jesus and his love and let it shine you trough.

I was in church yesterday and my pastor was talking about how much hate is spread and it's done so through social media. Then he said "treat other like you treat yourself". To me I grew up with that and I thought people knew this, like it was a common thing, and it was kind of shocking that people had to be reminded of that. He also talked of the book of Jonah and how he had no right to get mad at people he thought were bad but they got mercy from god. For me when you guys talked about the hate I was like , "we should pray for those who have been filled with hate so that when they are shown the mercy of god they become more at peace with everything " I could be getting this wrong but this was just how I felt. I think people are just afraid you might abandon your dogs to create a new life with your son. People look up to you guys so it matters to them. I work at a petstore and I see it all the time. People just leave their dogs and cats with notes at our doors. We just had someone leave a cat we adopted to them a month ago-they found out they were pregnant and didn't want to deal with the cat anymore.
We only ask and give our honest opinions Bc we genuinely love you and care about you and your family and we don't want you to make a decision you could possibly regret. Not that u will but we just care for you that's all. Praying for u to get the house and for your family and little ocean to grow up healthy.

Oh, also! I was in line for a concert for the Christian group The Afters last night and the girl in front of me turned around and told me that she liked my sweater! I was wearing the black Cross Your Heart foil sweater! She then said "is that a Carlos and Alexa one?" And my jaw dropped! We both went on to say that we hadn't met someone in the real world that also watches you guys! It was great to randomly meet another fan here in the big/small Las Vegas!
I don't normally comment but I had to on this one.....thank you both for sharing this story and your move with us. I was in the same place that Alexa was and not wanting to move as I am/was in my comfort zone. We have lived out of the metroplex for 14 years and have just decided to move into the Big City of Fort Worth, Texas, right in the middle of downtown so it is a huge changed for us and lifestyle as we are used to the quiet easy going life. We are in our 40's with our children all grown, married with kiddos. So being closer to them each and every day will be a huge blessing to our family. I am so looking forward to this and I do pray everyday that God will watch over us on our next chapter in life. God Bless you both for sharing your lives with us through this Vlog. While I was watching Alexa speak I got an overwhelming feeling from God that everything in my life is going to be ok. Life will have its ups, downs, and sharp turns but if we persevere with faith, we can find comfort in the fact that our loving God is in control. I want to thank you guys for being a light in this world. It is incredible how after I watch your videos or listen to worship music it is so much easier to see God's hand in the world. I understand exactly what you were saying Alexa!! Two years ago I felt the Lord calling me to Alaska. I left CA terrified and confused with a lot of change before me, but I listened and felt the Lord with me. I got here and my relationship with the Lord grew in a way that I wouldn't have let in CA and I wasn't comfortable in the beginning, but what is worldly comfort in comparison to growing with the Lord? The pay off for taking that step in faith has been overwhelming. God Bless!

What so many people need to realize is while yes they choose to film their life, that doesn't mean they are required to tell us everything or that we're entitled to know everything. This is still their life, they are just allowing us into it, to watch them grow both as a family and people in general. The hate their receiving because people are "concerned" is absolutely absurd, they are making a move that'll be a healthy and positive lifestyle change for themselves and, I absolutely admire their courage to do so. God obviously gave them this calling for a reason so who are you to question that, to question why, what they're thinking or to pass judgement? we see so little 0f their day and in retrospect life, so while you may think you see everything, know everything including what's "best for them" you don't, only they do. It's terrible that people are being so negative.

I don't know why people are being so judgemental on them.. they only show us less than 30 mins of their daily lives, I've been seeing comments like they neglect their dogs etc, they obviously don't mistreat their dogs and they have a newborn baby ofcourse they have to pay more attention to ocean???? Logic???? And there's a lot of people that live in Hawaii, people are making it out like they aren't gonna survive in Hawaii it's ridiculous just let them enjoy their life jeez...

Caity Ruhana I think it was meant more like will they have to be quarantined for a long time? If so, would they leave them with family instead of putting them through that kind of thing. I don't think anyone meant to imply that they may get rid of them to strangers or a shelter. I did ask about the dogs because some places have a very long quarantine period. If it were my dogs I wouldn't want to leave them in a kennel for 6 months until they were cleared. Fortunately Alexa said that is no longer the case but it was a reasonable question. Why people are blowing it up out of proportion I will never understand.

I am 17 yrs old and I take so much out of what you guys believe, and do. You guys are such an inspiration. I have known my whole life my i belong with the water and after watching a lot of your vlogs today I realized Hawaii is really were I need to be. That won't happen for a while obviously but that is were I am thinking god is pushing me. I still want to be part of the medical field so maybe I will go to college in my home state then when I figure out my career path I follow my heart to the sea. A lot of celebrities don't live in LA. They come in to Los Angles and come right back out. Julia Roberts once she had her children moved to New Mexico. Goldie Shawn and Kurt Russell moved to Canada because of there son. So by them moving to Hawaii its not the end of the world. They can travel back and forth.

I recently moved from CT to FL and what Alexa bout comfort zone is sooo true! Being in CT i was in a stagnant place spiritual in my life. Moving to a new place has drawn me closer to God and lean on him more. Of course there are going to be tough days but God is always there and will always be there. My prayers been asnwered(took 1,5 year but finally I'm letting go of a toxic friendship)today I worked in the hospital with old people as a trainee and let me tell ya something. Crazy,but as I helped those old people they made me smile and they said little cute jokes to brigthen up my day. It felt like God was smiling down at me. Literally. It was so heart warming. I feel GOOD.THis line is true: Fulfill your heart with Jesus and his love and let it shine you trough.

I was in church yesterday and my pastor was talking about how much hate is spread and it's done so through social media. Then he said "treat other like you treat yourself". To me I grew up with that and I thought people knew this, like it was a common thing, and it was kind of shocking that people had to be reminded of that.
He also talked of the book of Jonah and how he had no right to get mad at people he thought were bad but they got mercy from god. For me when you guys talked about the hate I was like , "we should pray for those who have been filled with hate so that when they are shown the mercy of god they become more at peace with everything "

I think people are just afraid you might abandon your dogs to create a new life with your son. People look up to you guys so it matters to them. I work at a petstore and I see it all the time. People just leave their dogs and cats with notes at our doors. We just had someone leave a cat we adopted to them a month ago-they found out they were pregnant and didn't want to deal with the cat anymore.

Oh, also! I was in line for a concert for the Christian group The Afters last night and the girl in front of me turned around and told me that she liked my sweater! I was wearing the black Cross Your Heart foil sweater!
She then said "is that a Carlos and Alexa one?" And my jaw dropped! We both went on to say that we hadn't met someone in the real world that also watches you guys! It was great to randomly meet another fan here in the big/small Las Vegas!
I don't normally comment but I had to on this one.....thank you both for sharing this story and your move with us. I was in the same place that Alexa was and not wanting to move as I am/was in my comfort zone. We have lived out of the metroplex for 14 years and have just decided to move into the Big City of Fort Worth, Texas, right in the middle of downtown so it is a huge changed for us and lifestyle as we are used to the quiet easy going life. We are in our 40's with our children all grown, married with kiddos. So being closer to them each and every day will be a huge blessing to our family. I am so looking forward to this and I do pray everyday that God will watch over us on our next chapter in life. God Bless you both for sharing your lives with us through this Vlog. There are those people who always hate when others get all up in their business yet have no problem judging others. You guys do what's best for you in your heart.
