This was their first song I heard and I was so shocked by how high quality the song was. It did not seem like a typical kpop song. The vocals were very strong and the melody and production. Listened to their album and rooting for then.

FIFTY-FIFTY music and vocals reminds me of some western nor european singers that are soloist and them are just singing their heart out, they dnt give a F_ if they are underrated soloist artist as long as they produce their music and spread to everyone.
The song production reminds me of little mix at some point (in a great way) hope they will continue become successful

@@donatdonatan4996 I almost agree with you. It just makes no sense to "Minnie and Soojin sound similar". Soojin's voice is light, soft, and Minnie's voice is thick and sweet. You can say both sound sexy but you can't say they are similar tho. Minnie's vocal color can fit in many genres meanwhile Soojin one is best for sexy and feminine concepts.
it feels bittersweet as I discovered these girls with 200,000 monthly listeners before Cupid and was really excited to see if they would attain success. sad there was all the drama because of them blowing up :(
I just learned what happened and I am so heart broken about it. They were legit the first group in a long time to get me excited for what the future might hold for them. Their sound was so unique and different from what is out there.

Fifty Fifty's album is one of the most perfect albums I've ever seen, it's a shame it doesn't get the hype it deserves.
Hopefully they'll have a good follow up comeback and blow up even more. Apparently they'll release it this month according to one of their company staff

I'm already working on a remix. And of course the end of the MV, I feel like there's some lore there that I don't understand yet.

For a smaller group like this to have such a solid and cohesive discography right off the bat is pretty impressive. And the members’ vocals also sound pretty strong too. I hope they receive the attention and support they deserve cause I’m definitely impressed with the songs I’ve listened to so far!!

지금까지 낸 노래 중 난 이게 제일 맘에 듦. 댄스 아이돌로서, 신인으로서는 파워가 떨어져 크게 히트하기 어려울 곡이지만 곡퀄리티로 보면 상당히 좋음. 빌보드 핫 100 상위에 위치해서 반복 재생했을 곡 같음.

I checked on their spotify and they’ve reached 1,2M monthly listeners already. Their song CUPID even chart on #37 on CIRCLE KPOP GLOBAL CHART. They really worth the hype. For a group from a small company they have a pretty good start on international fanbase.
They reached 4M now … and i looove that. They left some really popular groups behind them. 😏

when it was recommended to me on spotify i didn't realize it was a k-pop group. i was surprised when i suddenly heard korean. and i've been listening to k-pop for 20 years and no this really isn't typical k-pop, no, of no generation. not that no song ever sounded like it. but it does remind me of a mix of certain great western pop eras.
The funny thing is that I listened to this song and thought it sounded very Scandinavian, and I was right! Sweden songwriters for the win! 💜

이건 일반 걸그룹 노래 수준이 아니다. 아티스트의 노래다. 듣는 순간 온 몸에 전률이 일어나 , 멈출 수가 없다.
찾아보면 걸그룹 노래중 좋은노래 많음 묻혀서 그렇지
보통 걸그룹이면 노래가 어느정도 정형화(역동적퍼포먼스,칼군무,그리고 제발뺏으면 좋은 수박겉핥기랩 등등)된 패턴만 소비하다보니 아티스트 향이 나는 50:50 노래들으니 부르스리 님의 반응이 이해가 가네요 저도 나이53세지만 이친구들 노래는 정말 가슴을 건드리는 먼가가 있다고 느껴집니다~~~

한국어로 날은 me와 day 2가지 의미를 가지고 있습니다.
후렴구에서 Lovin me 반복 후 나오는 "모든 날 가득히" 여기서 날은 day가 아니라 me라는 해석이 있습니다.
이유는 1, 2 구절에서 나왔던 you = 과거의 나. think about you도 나를 생각하는 것입니다.

4세대 걸그룹이라고 대표하는 그룹들의 어떤 히트곡도 마음을 사로잡지 못했다
화려한 뮤비를 빼고 노래만 들었을때 공허하고 진부하고 지루하고 식상하고 뻔해보였다
그들의 뮤비만 한번 보고 다시 찾지않는 곡이 늘어나 슬펐다
15살이후 아이돌음악만 20년넘게 들어서
어떤 곡이 진심이 담겨있는지 그저 가볍게 소비되는 곡인지 나름의 기준을 갖게 되었다
브레이브 걸스의 롤린 이후 들을만한 곡 없다고
약간 씁쓸함이 계속되는 요즘 나에게 찾아온 곡이다
이 곡은 뻔하지 않다 식상함도 아니고 또 아이돌이야? 하는 물음을 그저 한번 들어봐보라고 나에게 손을 내미는 것 같은 곡이다
마치 친구가 내게 속삭여주는 것 같고 낮은 목소리로 대화하는 듯 깊은 울림을 준다
이런 노래같은 노래 가사같은 가사를 듣고 싶었다
뻔한 잘난 척 시크한 척 센 척 멋있는 척 도도해보이는 모습들의 나열이 아니라.
뮤비마저도 케이팝공장의 화려하고 진부한 세트장이 아니라 곡에 대한 해석과 영상철학이 담긴
자연스럽고 차분한 느낌의 뮤비라 너무나 귀호강 눈호강하고 있다.
고맙다 케이팝에 대한 식어가던 믿음에 한 줄기 밝은 빛을 주어서.
이 그룹의 가는 길에 즐겁게 동참하는 관객의 입장에서 설레고 기쁘다
