Dude, I agree. Maybe I'm just drifting from K/J pop but I really can't get into some of the newer groups from the last three years. They all sound the same and it's all the same choreography. Blackpink is really the only big group I enjoy and even then a lot of their music has fallen off. Some sad times.

U know that unfortunately this is not that true. They just found a vibe that match them, their ages and the people's aproval. In the start they were going to promote RED and VELVET songs, wich means velvet songs were the classical red velvet's ballads, but after their 1st velvet single "one of these nights" ended up with not that impact caused by the others concepts, they promoted a LOT of time in a really "RED" vibe, starting from Roussian Roulette and almost till Psycho they were sutck in some weird concept songs, in my opinion. I still love the girls and the songs and concepts at all, don't misunderstand me, but don't forget the concept idea of them. It's like when time passed, they put some ''DARK" in the concepts too xD
the "don't think about tomorrow" part is like warm hugs🧸 it has the same feelings as psycho's "hey now we'll be okay"

The mysterious atmosphere in the instrumental, the strings in the second verse adding drama to the song, the 80's synths in the bridge, all alongside their flawless vocals... I know a lot of people didn't get this song, but this is seriously one of their bests

at first i used to believe their album was low key boring, except for 3 or 4 songs, but after i checking the lyrics it makes so much sense, it's such a beautiful album for a cold season!
Red Velvet is always known for their duality concept. Red is their girly, happy, summer vibe (Red Flavor, Queendom, Zimzalabim) while their Velvet is the more mature and darker theme (Peek-A-Boo, Bad Boy, Psycho). But THIS, this one is finally the one where i can see their two concepts merging. This is probably their first Red Velvet song.

Something about this RV song just resonates with me on an emotional level so much. It talks about hope in the darkness, and love in the twisted situation - and the 'velvet' in the verse and 'red' in the chorus just makes total sense when look at it with the whole story.
