From what I’ve read, the wheel and it’s parts are actually good quality it’s just the firmware/compatibility that is terrible Turtle beach responded to some guy on Reddit that they’re going to be releasing patches soon, hopefully they deliver on that
@@mvp_0 I Would be interested in reading their response if you have a link. But I agree with you the wheel is good quality, the packaging is nice, and it has excellent features like the quick release and the Race Manager Display. Hopefully, they will be patching the software issue rapidly!
Unfortunately 6 bad news (comes from 1st consumers reviews) about this wheel: 1- The Screen Telemetry of the wheel is only working on PC (no Xbox games with telemetry are supported at launch = it’s only on PC). 2- On Xbox only 9 actions buttons on the wheel are working (actions buttons of the encoders & of the button box only working on PC). 3- On Xbox, ASSETTO CORSA COMPETIZIONE is currently not working. Full details on the same link. 4- On Xbox, the Wheel is "Plug & Play" but not on PC (on PC, in all games, there is not preset of the wheel, and we need to configure it manually for all buttons and axes). 5- The Load Cell measurement is only 50Kg 6- The 7,2Nm is only for maximum peaks (and so it’s not the constant force)
What I can add/confirm from this list: - telemetry doesn’t work on f1 23 (from what I have tested it works on acc and iRacing). - it was hard to find the PC software and the telemetry software form their website - the wheel arrived with firmware version 1.0.0 and the you need to do the firmware update - The break wasn’t responding on f1 23 until reaching half the max force ( need to put an insane break saturation in the settings, but break responds properly on acc and iRacing) - The wheel is definitely not 7.2nm - F1 23 becomes crazy after few corner ( as shown on the video) I tried to reach out with turtle beach support but no response so far. I understand it’s new for them but I won’t recommend getting the wheel for now
in fairness, most manufacturers measure it at peak, fanatec CSL DD with power pack is 8NM peak and not constant. I think Simagic is one of the only ones that does it based on on its constant/average
Guess Turtle Beach was making AI videos for the past month. So in a nut shell, they are saying that they are selling a product without testing it's software!!? #unacceptable
The wheel is much stronger than the g923 it’s a direct drive so that’s expected) however I think the force feedback is far from what turtle beach has announced, I can’t run force feedback myself but I hope someone else will be able soon.

I realize that while the car was tracking straight, the steering wheel was pointing to a 7 O'clock position. Was this fixed or is part of the software issues?
Same. Let me know if you figure it out. I got the firmware updated after an hour of waiting on that to go through. And it’s not even a big file. The install literally takes 30 min for the wheel then another 30 for the RMD. STILL not working in F1 23. And I even “setup a profile” though it doesn’t make sense how to save to anything other than slot 1… 🤦🏾♂️ Worst turtle beach product ever out of the box. Perhaps more time and money spent on R&D and less on Marketing. Tuttle beach shouldn’t have to spend much on marketing. Their brand usually sells itself. This misuse of funds was a big mistake.
@@paniiioo its about all of their products. Headphones and controlers and... yeah thats it. All of them are full of bugs and annoying stuff. Their headphones was once used it LOL and CSgo. They were ditchdd very fast because the software was crap, sometimes caused some crashes and was unstable as hell. Also the microphones are just the worst. They have this low pitch filter which you can't switch off and there was a bug where it sounded like your voice is vibrating all the time. I have had too many of their products do the same over and over again and i know fellas who will say exactly the same.
With all the problems y'all mentioned, it all make sense now why Turtle Beach hasn't send review units to sim racing channels...

Come to find out they did.... Just it did not ship to the one person who talked about it.

In all fairness on their website it says its not compatible with F123 on Xbox.... I will test it on F123 on PC here soon

It's their firmware. It has always been sooooo shit and thats why no e-sports use them anymorez because it was just pain to work and adjust things.
