- The Ultimate Jetty Park Campgroud Tour - EVERY SITE !!!!
In this video, we make the painstaking drive through Jetty Park Campground in order to film every single site, so you have a better idea of what you are booking before you book it. This video also covers the Pavillion areas, Jetty Park Pier and Jetty Park beach. Cocoa Beach's dog-friendly area extends about 12 blocks, from South 4th Street to South 16th Street. Dogs are allowed on the beach from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. and from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Jetty Park - Hours of Operation:

Our site was perfectly level, on concrete pad. Sewer, electric and water all worked just fine. No smell.
Bathrooms were clean. Not spotless, but clean.
Wifi was non existent at our site, but near the bathroom (in the 200 section), I was able to connect, and get about 10mbs.
AT&T cell service was mostly 1 bar of 5G. Enough to look at Meta (the artist formerly known as Facebook).
-Check in staff very friendly. Due to covid, we paid in advance, and never went to the check in office, just the check in at the front gate.
The beach area has a bath house with showers and bathrooms. Also on the walkway, a shower to rinse off the sand.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach.
They asked for our dogs vaccination paperwork in advance, which we emailed.
All in all, we would not return to this park, as it was just too crowded for us, and the sites are too close to other sites, thus eliminating privacy. If you LOVE the beach and LOVE fishing in Florida, this is an excellent option, and generally affordable.

Thank you sooo much!! We can see the site, we have to choose and pay for online!! All other videos only showed RV sites, we are real camping in tents! LOL Tent site #36 is perfect, I would have been so disappointed to get an open site, in middle of RVs. Nothing wrong with RVs, a great way to travel!! But, pretending to be in the woods, but have a fantastic beach, is HEAVEN!

Hey guys, started camping there in 1974, been many times. Ron jons was on side street in little shed. Rented surf boards
Would rather be tenting there than in our RV Gracie. The RV sites seemed to be rather crowded together with little privacy due to lack of natural landscaping, which was abundant in the tenting area. Now obviously there were some exceptions to this.
100% agree. We would not go back with a camper.

I'm hopeful it will help you. When I booked, I had a map from their website, which is detailed, but you definitely cannot tell what kind of site you are getting. There are a ton of videos of Jetty Park, but I couldn't find a single one that showed EVERY site, so we took the time to do it. Long video, but with the channel markers, you can focus easier. I used to camp a lot at Jetty Park. I used to fish from the pier way into the night; but after the World Trade Towers went down they closed the pier at 11 p.m. every night. For a year after 911, whenever a cruise ship left or arrived, there were Airmen guards from Patrick Air Force Base that stood near the pier armed with M--16 rifles. They weren't taking any chances when it came to terrorists.
what kind of fish would you catch?
@@LittleHouseofBeans -- Snook was my all time favorite. It was the best tasting fish I've ever eaten. However, snook must be at least 24 inches to keep. I had to toss back many Snook. It was a $250 fine to keep them. The law actually checked people's coolers. Snook was just about fished out back when I lived near Jetty Park, so they had to get tough with fishermen. Trigger fish are abundant there off the pier. My wife loves it because she's into sashimi and raw Trigger fish is good (to her...I won't eat raw fish).

How rowdy does this campground/RV park get?
it was far from rowdy. The worst of the noise i heard was the occasional cruise ship horn, otherwise, it was quiet. I cant speak for the tenting areas though.

dude.....i cant even. there ARE places where you can find good 'florida pizza'....this was not one of them. We gave that pie to our camping neighbors, who loved it. Standards will be upheld !!!

It can certainly feel that way there, agreed. That said, it is the perfect spot to watch those rocket launches, and the beach, steps from the campground is hard to beat. We personally wouldn't go back, but I can sure see the allure for others.
