Thank you so much Thuy, I really really enjoyed watching you create these amazing and useful things for the kitchen. They’re really really stunning too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Your little juice box straw was brilliant. I knew there had to be a way to get around the foot from getting stuck in the batting. Thank you for sharing. And another great hack, putting a pin at the inside corner of the heart, to prevent snipping too far. Thanks Your scraps are so sweet and pretty. I would have had trouble cutting into the yardage to begin with.
Your ideas are awesome. I’ve learned more from you the short time I discovered your skills. I can sit & watch you while I’m sewing. True I stop & watch because I so entrenched in what you do. Thank you for teaching us to think outside of the box with our sewing skills.❤ keep on keeping motivated. Love love your techniques.
This is my 3,4 or 8th😃 time watching this. I have some memory problems. Even if I think I might have seen it before I watch it again. (I'm afraid I'll miss something. Lol) I usually remember some time during the video but watching again helps me remember when I'm doing a project. Thanks for sharing. God bless you.
Hello, Lovely crafting., On the oven mitts, I think you so two layers (blue and white) of lining together? Is one of those layers a heat protective type of fabric?
Now, I want to make an oven mitt using Insubrite, or whatever they call the insulator, and cotton batting. I'll make the size a little wider, but I like the length. To be practical, I'll choose a dark fabric for the underside bc I know that the palm side touches the pan. In my mind, any food stain from spills may be easier to wash and won't be as noticable. TY for your inspiration.
Insul brite works great. Just never put on microwave and I also not putting in dryer for longevity and the foil that helps to insulate might not be good for dryer. Last part I haven't looked up but something I will abide by
What you have used for lining?imean what it is called???geat fan of your projects....have started with mug rug....Thank you sooo much Thuy for such an easy tutorial...you are gorgeous....MAY GOD BLESS YOU.AMEN
It's good information just remember that if it Is scraps then use what you have and second everyone starts somewhere so just because it is not correct share and then help others up. Saying as I started w polyster batting and only recently graduated to cotton. There's cost considerations and I just also reused old items. It's not always using the right items but supply and cost of material.
You have such lovely ideas for using scraps
Makes me wish I had more scraps….such great ideas…thank you!!

Очень красиво. Покажите пожалуйста , как сшить грелку на чайник.
Love it!
Sorry but you should use only cotton batting for an oven mitt because polyester batting melts when hot!
Thanks Nancy, you have just helped me. I was wondering about this.
You're supposed to use Insul-Bright for oven mitts. Microwave cozies are made using 100% cotton batting.
@@marilynmiller559 Hm, I have never heard of that. I will have to check it out! Thanks!

Also Cotton thread
You need to use insulbrite inside for heat resistance.

Some free patterns would be awesome too please 🙏😊🤗
Gosto 😅muito
👍
На макушке большого пальца не мешало бы пару стежков сделать чтоб не выворачивалось
They are just too pretty to get dirty in the kitchen.
👍🙏🤗🙏🙏
Looks like your final products were small for your own hand
And you make stitching more complicated
Try simplifying it with less stitches
