Thank you from the Netherlands. I find basecamp not so difficult make many route's with it. But via google maps it works also easy. have a nice trip. Bertus
I want to navigate in the forest but to see the trees and the landscape I want to download Google map to a sd card then to add it to my garmin device I don't want it directly on my garmin because it overloads the system and turn very slow. Can you please help me do you know how?
Looks like we are in the same vicinity. I'm at LKN. Any chance you'd give a personal class? I'd gladly compensate you. I ride both a HD and BMW 1250GSA. I use the Zumo XT on the BMW. I avg about 20,000 a year on both. This is such a better way. I'd just like to be super proficient using it. I hate Base Camp. Thanks
OMG, this video needs to be linked to everywhere. Thank you.

You convinced me to use maps for roads and an app for trails.

Thanks for making it. I did finally get it to work and was able to add OpenMaps and topo to my ancient Colorado 400.

Basecamp imports the "Points" in the correct order if you add driving directions in Google before you import.

Very well explained, but BaseCamp is easy enough for me. It was more a Google maps tutorial to me.

You can just download the open map, it will have everything and the map will also be routable
If you save all the maps from your Sat nav (Zumo) on to your computer, there is no need to plug it in.

Basecamp is easy to use and it doesn't need internet...Google does.
