Hi, thank you so much for such a clear video, it's incredibly helpful! Is there a way to automate this so that I can process multiple images at once, or at least speed this process up when repeated? I'm guessing the need to identify the valid pixels for each image would be the main problem with automation...
You can use arcpy or model builder to automate this, about the valid pixels, if you trust the QA band, you can use it as masking reference, however, I forgot if the QA band is included in level-2 surface reflectance data or not, maybe you can confirm it by yourself
When I add to current map the QA band, I only get black and white tiles. Is this due to my license? Please help me so I can already proceed with my research. Thank you!
@@GEO2004 it will just turn into white and red tiles. I used the T1_QA_PIXEL.TIF layer and managed to produce what you were discussing in the video. Is this a plausible route for cloud maskin? The next problem I encounter is when I right click the layer, the edit function chain is disabled. It says here that the command is disabled because it is not a function raster layer. Can you help me, please. Thank you
Hi. I'm a fan of your channel. Where did u downloaded the ARD Imagery for Indonesia? Bcoz in Earth Explorer, I only found that type of imagery available within US area.
Last time I checked it, the data already there, I dont know if some restriction is placed for your country, If you have VPN, may be you can recheck it using IP address from USA or Europe
@@GEO2004 for this application what type of Landsat data that we need to use? can i use the C2 Level 2 to use the QA band? But they're not ARD. Just. Checked couple of hours ago. I m from Malaysia and what I can see for worldwide imagery of landsat 8 are collectio 1 level 1 & 2. And collection 2 level 1&2. ARD only for US imagery.

Thank you. Lets say I want to stop at time 6:25, and I do not want to replace the missing data. Where do I go to save?
right click the layer name > export data
Is it okay to mix Landsat Imageries with different capture date like in 7:15 ?. Thank you
It is depends on analysis purpose, sometimes they are ok, sometimes they are not
Okay. Thank you, Pak.

Hi. I'm following these steps. But I don't find the Surface reflectance sub-dataset. Do you know why it happend? I used the landsat8 data.
Maybe you are downloading level 1 data instead of level 2 data, or you don't have the latest version of arcgis maybe?
Thanks for sharing this method. I was wondering how to go about doing it for Sentinel-2. Is it of similar steps?
Yes, pretty much same as long as the arcgis pro can read sentinel-2 metadata

Change the symbology to unique values or classified

Do copy layer using image analysis toolbar to make the raster functions work

As long as the data contain surface reflectance product, they are fine
Does this wok only with QA band?
It should
Hola!! muy bien!! puedes hacer un video de remoción de nubes pero con Sentinel 2? Gracias!!
me parece buena idea, lo tendre en cuenta en mi lista de videos
@@GEO2004 muchas gracias, muy amable de su parte. Saludos

Can I do cloud removal from arcmap?
Yes, but the processing steps are more complicated, I already made a video how do it in arcmap, check it on my channel with keyword clouds removal
why your clip function has two inputs when my clip function is have only one?
Which version of arcgis pro you are using? Mine is using 2.8
@@GEO2004 I use version 1.2, can you tell me the download link?
@@vandertaaz9270 man thats so old and full of bugs, if you have arcgis pro license, you can get it from my.esri
Awesome tutorials just sounds problem
Thanks, yeah, sound is my weakness, hopefully it wont bother much
