WOW! Who knew that sending those slugs to Taofledermaus would create such a buzz?! When I watched Jeff's video, I knew why I just had to have this 6 segment mold the moment I saw it! Now I just have to find a way to ensure that the wads stay attached. Any suggestions on cheap adhesives? I used a #4 x 1/2" wood screw. I just ordered some #6 x 5/8" wood screws.
Thanks for the how to video. The tfm video was really cool. I’ve waited months for NOE molds, its worth the wait for quality. I’d like that 6 segment slug
You're welcome. After ordering, and all the questions about it, I figured it was best to make a video explaining the process. I've also waited on NOE. I'm waiting for some of their stuff to come in stock now. I saw the 6 segment and just had to have it, especially when I saw it was 1 gram lighter than my Zveroboy. Though for $98 you get all 4 versions shipped.
Thanks for making this video! Honestly I've bought all mine from the A.S. Facebook! But I'm going to talk to Elizabeth who's the manager and runs everything. Because that is confusing! They also make a 9mm (.365) pellet mold! It's not on the website but it is available. Awesome Company!
I got so many questions the ordering process after TFM did the video on the Twister slug that it just made sense to explain it in a video. That would be great. It is definitely not the typical ordering method, though I do appreciate them interacting with the customer to confirm that the order is correct. I wasn't aware that you could order from them on FB, is it more straight forward?
@@psykoklown874 Yeah I'll definitely talk to her. Yep every mold I have I ordered from there Facebook facebook.com/bulletmold/ you just tell them what you want over messenger then Elizabeth sends you the PayPal link. Easy peasy!
@@psykoklown874 Yeah it's on there "bulletmold" page on Instagram. Not sure why it's not on the website. There's a awesome .410 slug mold also that's not on the website. The .365 pellet is crazy I guess maybe you would seat it in the case right up to the top band like a fullwadcutter? Idk. I'm going to have to buy and try🤟
I think it's a rather creative idea for bullet molds. Now if they were to offer a selection of bodies with different lube grooves it would open up a world of combinations. I'm kinda curious about how well HPs would work in 300 BO.
The molds are very similarly constructed, and both have their pros & cons. Svarog handles are more comfortable in the hand (think Lee vs RBS handles), but the AS core pin handle is larger and easier to grip. I think AS may have the edge in quality, but I'd say it's really more down to the slug design you want since they both have offerings the other doesn't. I have the Svarog Zveroboy, but I think the Twister verion is a better design since thins at the separation point, and has a bit more of a diabolo shape. In theory it should fragment more consistently at lower velocities (TFM had them fragmenting subsonic).
I agree. It's nice that they have an English version, but I'm thinking that some things don't translate well. Their "order form" sure could use an overhaul.
I've Tried ordering from as or svarog to the UK but with all the sanctions due to the war in Ukraine, they have some dodgy payment options which I'm highly dubious about
True. I first looked on TATV's site, but he didn't carry the Twister, so I ordered it directly. I can't fault TRN or TATV Canada for making a profit for their efforts. If it weren't for them, many shooters wouldn't even know these molds existed.
Most of the Sarvog molds are available from "The Reloaders Network.com" and Bacon includes shipping, he has them in different styles and also can get whatever Sorvog makes. You don't have to wait for things to come from Russia, Bacon has them in stock and ready to ship. That in itself is a real time saver and gets you loading them without all the ordering hassle and wait time from AS. -Dave
True, but he doesn't carry the AS brand, which has many designs like Svarog, and some that are different. Svarog doesn't have a 6 (or 5) segment design. The AS molds are also of a higher quality (TATV Canada did a video on that, and carries both brands, just not the Twister)). I bought my Zveroboy mold through TRN. I'm waiting for Bacon to get a replacement core pin for my Zveroboy mold. It's $98 shipped with all 4 core pins, and 2 weeks to NY isn't too bad. I've waited longer for some orders from Amazon. Did you see the TFM video of the AS Twister yet (upper right end card)?
Svarog are garbage compared to A.S. in all honesty. I'd rather wait 10-14 days for quality! It's never taken more than 14 days for me and I live in Arizona. Always 8 to 10 days before they hit NYC. Also A.S. makes way more designs compared to svarog! I believe svarog simply copied A.S.! Or tries anyway! Psyko Clown is like the 15th person I've heard say there svarog pin broke.... A.S. company for the win🤟
@@Mav8887. I ordered a spare core just to be safe. I was only interested in the 34 gram 6 segment design. Check out the TFM video if you haven't already seen it.
@@Mav8887. Cool, and thanks. The performance TFM got from them blew me away. That gel shot was a thing of beauty! He used all of my components, so it's confirmed that they work well, though I do have several different powders to test. I probably won't be loading them quite as hot though.

Also are AS molds better than svarog? I will say Elizabeth's customer service and communication at AS is second to none

Yes their website was a pain in the AS to maneuver through. But I got figured out. As for that Trackingmore.com it looks like it is a China company.
