I don't share his religious beliefs, but I respect his commitment to his faith and bravery to express his views, especially within the music industry where so much negativity and materialism exists. Beautiful man and family. I'll definitely continue to follow his career and listen to his gorgeous voice. It's a truly wonderful, expressive one; a definite gift.
I love The Killers, and Brandon Flowers. I love how he can be a father, a husband, and a great musician at the same time. We need more people like Brandon.

I have so much respect for Mr.Flowers and the Killers. They have stood the test of time and keep cranking out amazing album after amazing album. They have a fan for life here. I find it moving he says "I am a father, a husband, and I'm a Mormon." Doesn't mention anything about what has given him this fame - only what is in his heart. That is quite inspiring to those of us that are not famous but yet are fathers and husbands. Thanks Brandon.
I've gathered through listening to Brandon Flower's music that he takes a lot of inspiration from religion. In his lyrics, it might not seem so obvious, but it is obvious to me when he makes constant references to god, and to religion without being explicit about it---and I'm sure that others have noticed it too. Not being religious myself, I've wondered whether his singer-song-writing abilities would be affected if he wasn't a religious. I think they would be affected because he drives such power from his beliefs, which give his songs a "soul". I look forward to hearing all the music he makes in the future.

I'm sat here watching this video in tears because he looks so happy with his family and he made it to a place in life where I want to be, I'm scared i'll never get there and I know i have to become more familiar with rejection...I just want to change the world, No matter how I do it. I want to die knowing i've acheaved something and i've helped someone in the world and that I won't be forgotton..I hope I can acheve this with my music as he has done.

I have this undying respect for Brandon because he's so proud of his values and his beliefs. I'm not Mormon, personally, but I really admire his perseverance. Faith, love and positive values are such an important and needed part of today's society and he's proud to keep them strong. I respect this man and he makes me so proud to be a loyal fan of The Killers!

Brandon's a great example of how faith can help people change. We all make mistakes and it's no secret that he had his struggles early in his rock career. Now that he's living a more positive life I admire him for not letting his past mistakes stop him from proudly representing his church.
Through Brandon's music, I got through the hardest times of my life & knowing that he embraces the church uplifts me. He is amazing. I love being a member of the church, & i'm so glad he lives to the gospel & strives to lead by example. Thankyou for this.
Why the dislikes? Nobody is asking anyone to be Mormon, it's just a video of a badass, and his awesome personality!

One thing that takes a while to get across to others is that we, Mormons, aren't weird at all. There's nothing weird about living your life a certain way, or believing in Christ. You sharing this video makes my job easier when trying to get this point across. Thanks again

At the time when they were not so famous here in Italy, I first heard some Killers' songs and said "there is something beautiful in their music, something different". "Read my Mind" was such a lovely tune, and then all of their "Sam's Town" album songs were so magic, and still I think so!! Then one day my Brother came to me and told me Brandon Flowers was a member of the Church, and realized why they were so different!!! The spirit can really be shared in way we don't understand, AMAZING!!!

Its interesting to hear Brandon's experience of meeting other ex-mormons out there in the jungle, and having that discussion where we joke about how silly the religion is, and how "we are so much smarter and cool now" ... but we were kidding ourselves while we did things that never made us happy, they made us miserable, confused and lost. I can testify that as a lost mormon, when I was out there in the danger zone, satan used to go out of his way to make me feel very comfortable, and get invited to all the best, coolest parties, with all the best drugs a lost soul could want. I was aware of his influence everywhere, it was never malicious, it was distracting, it was comforting, it made me feel special ...and that is very seductive, but when satan backs you into a corner, or a deep dark hole that is when he pounces.
I doubt everything everyday, but when I see other decent lds souls, it reaffirms that this is the best answer out there, there is no other.
If there is a better more complete, and well organised religion out there, I am not aware of it. 🤎
-oh and I am still lost, I even removed my name from the LDS membership, yet I keep returning again and again and again, but I still doubt it all. I wish that I could get an honest testimony of its truth, I think my anger at being ill all the time makes me resent god. (why am I posting such personal stuff here, perhaps in the hope that god reads online posts and comments lol)
Brandon, my wife's stock went through the roof when she surprised me with two tickets to your concert at Salt Air! She had placed the tickets in my Easter basket of all places!? I'm lucky to have her and we have enjoyed your music on all of our road trips!! Thank you for your humility, your humanity , and your courageous faith.

There is a power within his soul, and it travels through his music, as i listen to him i always feel empowered and i never could understand why...This video really helped. I'm hardly formed as a person (being a teenager) but so far i have no great ties to a religion. However i understand and respect faith and realize how essential it is to becoming something meaningful. Thank you for helping me on my journey to becoming someone with a purpose as you, Mr.Flowers.

Brandon! YOU ARE MY HERO! I also want to uplift people with my music; I want to uplift people by the way I live. I think we spend a lot of time trying to figure out what is really important in life, and it always comes back to family for me. Family, if not the one you were raised in, the one you hope to have one day. I love music and your music has inspired me to be better...especially your new solo stuff. It is compelling.

After seeing a couple NFL players doing these videos, I was wondering when Brandon was gonna do one. I Love the Killers, I love Brandon, I love his music, and I love that he still knows what's important in life.
I'm a practicing Mormon, and I just want to put out there that I can respect people that have left the church, and if they have a negative view, they are entitled to it. I think it's good for people to do what they want. I do what I do because it makes me happy, as anyone should. What ever you are, BE A GOOD ONE. Why do we have to spend our life arguing with each other about things we don't have tactile evidence for. Believe what you want, and just be good to people. Seriously...
Always loved your music Brandon, but you just scored more points in my book by publicly declaring your faith than any of your songs could have done. And that's saying something considering how amazing your music is!

It seems like it would be difficult to live the standards of the Church while participating in a rock band. Kudos to Mr. Flowers for making church and family a priority in an environment where those things are not popular.

I love you Brandon! I'm so proud of him for standing up for his beliefs, that takes a lot of courage in his business. We need to be examples that its okay to be religious and have beliefs. Its a good thing and doesn't mean you're crazy! :) Killers music has inspired me so much, and this is awesome!
It has shown that they are every day people. Brandon has a life, a home, a family, hobbies. a faith and a career. Yes his career has led to him being well known, but just because his job isn't in an office or something, it doesn't mean that he isn't a normal human being. He has all the elements of a normal life.

Brandon Flowers is a great example of integrity, & has been blessed because of his faith in the Lord, and in making correct choices. I was 20 when I joined the church and it has been the best decision I have made. I am now 40, have four great children, & a terrific husband. I even have a 16 year old who has found her identity, and knows that without the gospel, she'd be lost. If you have no idea as to who we are...talk to the missionaries. No one is perfect, and no one should judge. God bless!

I've seen so many hugely talented musicians, singers and songwriters in the LDS church, its not surprising that there are a number of mainstream well known musicians out there that are LDS. I guess the hard part would be staying active while also working in that industry.

I saw this video in my business management 241 class at BYU, and it's amazing that the artists in today's music industry, are influenced by drugs, wealth, and power. It's great that there are artists like Brandon and Alex Boye who create music that helps people feel that there is a positive perspective towards life, that ultimately our goal is to helps others reach their true potential. This has just made my day bro!!! Myself, I have been through some trials and hard times internally with myself but with good music came good feelings and hope for brighter days. I have to admit that I used to listen to your band during my mission and it would help me get over the things that I would be struggling with. I know that I was probably was not supposed to listen to non-church music during my mission but it helped me get through the fiery-darts of the devil..., so I say THANK YOU! :)
